Couldn’t agree more.
Yesterday we got the bad news. Our home of 34 years is un salvageable. Mold remediation alone could be $15-20,000.00. So we will have to tears down a house that has stood for 110 years, raised who knows how many children (plus our three) and who knows how many families. We only had three payments left.
The emotional strain is almost unbearable. But we are safe and all of our family is safe. We are trying to look toward the future but it’s hard. We are at a crossroads in our lives, almost ready to retire and wanting to move closer to our three kids and seven grandchildren.
A lot of our stuff is OK, but a lot is too molded to keep. If I could give you one word of advice, keep ANYTHING you love and want to keep in waterproof plastic tubs. Everything we had put up in tubs survived and didn’t mold.
Tex.
B.W., Thank you for sharing this – it’s a reminder to all of us to remain aware. That awareness will lead us to doing what is best for us to prepare. Your friends and family are blest. Nancy
Nice
Found myself with more rice than WalMart so to a local shelter it was sent. Lots of people like me cleaned out closets, attics and pantries. When that wasn’t enough we went to Walmart and bought them out of certain items needed by the shelters. Everyone that could did, and is, doing something. God Bless Texas.
I’m so glad to hear from you that the main thing is our Great GOD! May HE continue to bless and keep you and your family.
“Mygenericstore” is a well-established pharmacy service that deals primarily with generic medicines produced by quality-assured manufacturers from developing countries.
