I owned an Operator for 3 years and love it. I shoot IDPA and the Operator weighted in at 46 oz. IDPA limit was 43 oz and no bull barrels, so I could use in club matches but not sanctioned matches. I just discovered there’s a TRP that’s 42oz! Bought it, love it! I’ve now got a rule legal match TRP! I did think the Operator with the bull barrel would shoot a little better but they’re identical! Great gun! For everyday carry, I use the Springfield 1911 9 mm EMP. Same 1911 platform but a little more carry friendly!
