  1. I think those who planned these emergencies were in the know long ago. Because fuel of the 1950s often was stored without additives for months and sometimes a few years.
I saw tractors back then start with original fuel after 2-3 years. So, the fuel has changed. By the way, this old fuel still can be purchased in South America Countries, like Chile and Venezuela where the minimum grade is 91 and high octane 95 to 98.
By the way, my bug out place is completely outside the US. Anyone thinking anywhere in the US just doesn’t appreciate what’s in store for this country.
Best insurance is to get out period.
    Anyone thinking less, isn’t informed.

  2. Just tested some gasoline stored for 3 years using Pri G. No issues ran just like fresh gas. I store my gas in 55 gallon oil drums and have found a nifty device to control expansion. A company called the “New Pig” that sells stuff for storing liquids and spill containment sells a device that screws into the 2″ bung hole on the barrel. It maintains pressure at 5 psi. Also maintains if under vacuum in cold weather
around $50.00 for the plastic version $100.00 for brass no more swelled up barrels.
