  3. I have just recently, 2 1/2 months ago, purchased the EMP 40 and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!! It has the nicest “feel” of any larger caliber pistol I have ever had the pleasure of firing. I have never trusted a gun to be my EDC gun without putting at least 500 rounds through it……that is until now. I realize many people will tell me I’m “stupid” and/or “crazy” for trusting a firearm that I haven’t put enough rounds through yet because any gun can have issues but it just has a “feel” to it that I can’t explain. I trust it and hopefully I will never have to trust my life to it but if I do, again hopefully, I will have over 500 rounds through it by then but even if I don’t, I have little to no doubt that it will fire and feed exactly as I expect. This gun is crisp, the slide cycles so quickly and completely that there is just no way I can see it having any issues feeding. I have yet to try other types of ammo but so far the Winchester 180gr FMJ and Hornady Critical Duty 175gr has fired flawlessly. I have a Sig Sauer P938 that I love and even that doesn’t cycle as smoothly or give me the same level of trust as the EMP does. I paid more for this than any of my other pistols and I would pay double what I paid for this level of trust this gun gives me. Being a combat Veteran(Iraq) I know that trust in your equipment and your abilities gives you the confidence needed to enter the battle and KNOW you can win. I can’t say enough good about this firearm. I’ve said a lot already but I’ll end with this; if you are looking for a compact pistol, a pistol to carry everyday, open or concealed, you won’t go wrong with this firearm. This is just my personal opinion but I think this is the PERFECT firearm for me and I’m sure most everyone that has ever fired this firearm will agree.
