I have a question. My father in law, in California, has dozens of weapons. My husband and I are here in Colorado. My FIL has a family trust covering all his assets, trustees are FIL, MIL and my husband in that order. When they pass all that property including weapons comes to us. Is a “Gun Trust” necessary in order for us to take possession of the weapons upon their passing, or does the family trust already cover that? I am concerned about bringing the weapons across state lines legally. Thanks for your help.
