The Survivalist’s Odds ‘n Sods

SurvivalBlog presents another edition of The Survivalist’s Odds ‘n Sods— a collection of news bits and pieces that are relevant to the modern survivalist and prepper from “JWR”. Our goal is to educate our readers, to help them to recognize emerging threats, and to be better prepared for both disasters and negative societal trends. You can’t mitigate a risk if you haven’t first identified a risk. Today, we take another look at the urban exodus.

U.S. Housing Market Is ‘Booming’, Exceeding Pre-Pandemic Levels

Linked over at the Whatfinger.com news aggregation site: U.S. Housing Market Is ‘Booming’, Exceeding Pre-Pandemic Levels JWR’s Comment: Hardly mentioned in the article is that a lot of this churn in existing home sales is created by families wanting to move out of liberal coastal cities. Don’t be surprised if a year from now, you read that most of the new construction has been in rural areas.

Meanwhile, we read: “White Flight Is Real” – Hollywood’s Apocalypse Triggers Mass Exodus

A Pre-Election Takedown of Conservative Groups

Redoubt News reports:  Big Tech Takedown of Conservative Groups. The article’s opening paragraphs:

“Two more Big Tech companies have coordinated another attack on groups of Patriots and Conservatives across the United States. Facebook and Twitter have reportedly removed thousands of pages from conservative groups, including campaign pages, militia groups and personal pages of people connected to them.

The takedown of the campaign pages for these conservatives could be seen as election interference, and discussions are underway as to the remedy for this action..

Main Stream Propaganda is reporting this purge as an “effort to limit violent rhetoric tied to QAnon, political militias and protest groups.“ However, I have looked through many of the pages that were deleted and never saw any of them advocating violence, unlike many Leftist, progressive posts.

This is actually an attack on speech with which the Leftists do not agree. It is that simple.”

Mayor Lightfoot: “…But Some are More Equal than Others”

A hat tip to Joe B. for sending this item: “I Have A Right To Make Sure That My Home Is Secure”: Chicago Mayor Lightfoot Defends Ban On Protesters On Her Block. The piece at Zero Hedge begins:

“In the aftermath of the George Floyd killing, protests erupted across dozens of cities in California with hundreds of thousands of people taking to the streets, and despite the raging coronavirus pandemic they were cheered on loudly by the state’s liberal elite with some of the most prominent Hollywood actors taking daily turns to voice their support for the protesters while condemning anyone who did not side with the BLM movement, even when so frequently it devolved into violent rioting and looting of innocent bystanders. All of that abruptly ended, however, when BLM invaded Beverly Hills chanting  “eat the rich.” That’s when the police quickly showed up and immediately cleared out all the protesters.

But while such NIMBY hypocrisy has long been a fixture of the ultra-liberal Golden State, nothing compares to what just happened in Chicago whose Mayor Lori Lightfoot – best known for encouraging local BLM protests, going so far as saying that black lives are “more important than downtown corporations” after the unprecedented looting that took place last week – defended the Chicago Police Department’s ban on protesters being able to demonstrate on the block where she lives, telling reporters Thursday that she and her family at times require heightened security because of threats she receives daily.

Yes, Mayor Lori is all about BLM protests… as long as they are literally not in her back yard.”

China Could Soon Take Taiwan in Three Days

Paul M. spotted this news item: Former top US officials say China could take Taiwan in 3 days in early 2021.

You can send your news tips to JWR. (Either via e-mail of via our Contact form.) Thanks!

  1. I would expect China to take Taiwan as soon as a Democrat is inaugurated President. Then their expansion could escalate. Assume that a N. Korea attack on S. Korea would soon follow, then the Philippines. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a combined N. Korea/Chinese attack on Japan.
The Chinese hold grudges and intend to take revenge on enemies going back hundreds of years. The Americans and the British could be in for it.
Should Trump win, I expect the communist Antifa and BLM to step up their insurgency.

    1. You just might be right about ‘hold grudges’ going back hundreds of years. … A long term held grudge, to justify violence ~today seem to be the characteristic of many people.

I heard Osama bin Laden (twin tower attack, New York City) was still upset about the ‘Crusaders invading’ Muslim areas, back when soldiers wore armor and used swords. … Calling non-Muslims ~Crusaders is still a descriptive term used.
…… I’ve also heard some USA public school teachers describe Islam as the Religion of Peace. = Terror activity now days is just a reaction to ‘Crusader’ invasions.

The idea of “Love your neighbor as yourself” doesn’t seem to be accepted in much of our world. …. There is a guy on the radio that says, ‘People use past events in history as justification to hate people today.’ ….. People seek grievances about everything. [Victimhood as moral virtue; = Victims have the moral authority to hate]

  2. “The takedown of the campaign pages for these conservatives could be seen as election interference, and discussions are underway as to the remedy for this action..”

I do not understand why this isn’t obvious to more: REMOVE YOURSELF FROM THOSE PLATFORMS TO STARVE THE BEAST.

You, your clicks, your eyeballs, your posts and your bandwidth are the revenue streams these companies exist with. YOU are their product. They sell information about you to advertisers.
If YOU aren’t there reading, clicking, liking, tweeting, reposting on their site, they don’t get money from advertisers. You keep going there, you are contributing to the problem. You are funding your own suppression!!!!
Use competing non-restrictive places like Gab and Bitchute. Stop sharing and linking to these platforms that suppress your rights! Stop watching and sharing youtube videos! You want to fight these powers? Remove yourself first! You don’t need Goobermint mandates to do what a free market economy can achieve on its own!

    1. K in Tenn… From your post; “I do not understand why this isn’t obvious to more: REMOVE YOURSELF FROM THOSE PLATFORMS TO STARVE THE BEAST.”

You are so very right. STARVE THE BEAST.

      1. 1) Well, we all also need to talk with all of out fellow Americans — urban, rural, male, female, black, white, Democrat, Republican, liberal, conservative — and convince them to stop feeding the Beast as well.

        2) Only way to stop “Divide and Conquer”. I personally think most Americans can agree on what is fair. Our common interest in seeing this country prosper unites us more than the liars that are tryin to divide us.

I suspect there aren’t too many bitter political fights in the foxholes on the battlefield.

    2. AMEN! I totally agree K in Tenn. I decided a while ago to quit gripping about farcebook and removed myself from it. Same with Amazon. I don’t use any social media, zoom, or tic toc.

  3. The housing market is driving the stock market up and making it harder to find treated lumber so a little good and a little bad. The flight is real but unwelcome. They arent standing and fighting now and allowed it to go bad there and the same will happen wherever they land.

  4. Re: Tech censorship…
‘It’s only free speech if we agree with it’. ….and since the lying propaganda spewing main stream media and the major tech companies are very left, they will never agree that anything you say (or own) is protected under ‘that dinosaur’ piece of paper we know as the United States Constitution.

  5. 1) While I strongly oppose the Leftists attacks on free speech, I would note that the Leftists are using power given to them by the conservative Libertarians. Who were arguing a few years ago that “Money is Speech” in the runup to the Supreme Court decision overturning campaign finance reform (Citizens United)

    2) Well, if Money is Speech then that means Leftist billionaires and their prostitutes control the microphones and the rest of us can go into the woods and yell at the squirrels. Freedom of the Press only applies if you OWN the Washington Post.

    3) The Libertarians also argued that Government is the Enemy. But each of us has a vote in Government — whereas we have NO vote in the Boardrooms of giant corporations that work Americans into the ground and then discard them like used toilet paper.

    4) Government in the control of billionaires is an Enemy to the average citizen — corruption has been the primary cause of the disasters that have hit us in the past 20 years.

    5) But the Libertarians were strangely silent about the threat posed by a few thousand rich men owning the Congress, owning the News Media, owning most of the wealth and determined to get ever more.

    6) I do not envy the Rich for their wealth. If they had continued to spend their money on 300 foot yachts, Gulfstream Jets, prostitutes and drugs I would have no problem. But they know much of the country is hurting and angry — so they are pumping vast sums into making us fight each other instead of holding the billionaires to account. Divide and Conquer.

    7) Trump has his shortcomings but he is Local Wealth. He made his money in America building things with real value — unlike the globalists selling out the country to China. Trump knows that he did not build those skyscrapers himself. Like military officers, Trump knows that while rank has its privileges it also has its burdens and responsibilities to subordinates. That loyalty is a two-way street.

    8) That concept is utterly foreign to his enemies. When they create their Global Government, their fellow Americans will have the poverty and oppression of the worst 3rd world country.

    1. Thought provoking commentary, Don Williams… We must examine closely what free speech means, and how to preserve and protect it for all. One of my personal interests from my early training as an economist is the study of monopolies and anti-trust. I also have a keen interest in the preservation of true liberty (which is not necessarily or always “Libertarian”). With all this in mind, I read your post with thoughtful interest!

I also agree with your thoughts on President Donald Trump who has my full support, and will have my vote. My prayer is that he will have the support of so much of the country that his victory will be overwhelming. Every vote counts. Do not believe for a moment that yours is just one. One vote quickly becomes 10 and 100 and 1,000 and 10,000. Within the electoral college, a presidential election can hinge on a single county or a couple of them, and at the same time the national popular vote can send a huge message. America, let’s go for both a Trump electoral college win and the support of the popular vote as well.

  6. Two items off of the subject matter above, #1, I went to my local costco and didn’t find your book, and # 2, a lot of these profession ball, basket ball and MLB and football players ( Colin Kaperdick ) are striking because of what is happening in Wis and other places, that is well and fine, but I don’t watch their bull s–t games for any reason, never have, sont plan to.
but if they are striking and don’t play, then they shouldn’t get a pay check or should be given a pay cut. When I was working to support my family,if I didn’t work, I didn’t get paid. Just my two cents from another gray haired, balding ( what is left of it ), fat , opinionated, bull headed old man

  7. re:
Chicago mayor bars rioters from her neighborhood

    The article repeats a falsehood:
“In the aftermath of the George Floyd killing…”

    George Floyd was a suicide.
He chose to suicide by inserting a fatal overdose of illegal drugs into his colon, a process addicts call ‘hooping’.
He chose to suicide while committing crimes against his neighbors and his community.

Free speech must be protected, but should we require accuracy in such speech?

    *****

George Soros is quoted in a 2014 German interview:
“The low intelligence of American blacks makes them easily manipulated. This is one method to destroy America.”

Mister Soros is entitled… to his opinion.

    *****

Scandinavian researchers used decades of extensive DNA records to chart global democracy.
They discovered some genetic groups are physically incapable of living within the European/American system of laws and justice.
In particular, individuals from sub-Saharan Afrika are genetically unable to meet European/American standards of civilization.

Bringing such individuals to The New World was short-sighted.
Expecting them to co-exist in nations founded and operated by individuals of European heritage is doomed to an inevitable failure.

Mister Soros doesn’t need to assist the process of destroying America by “…manipulating American blacks…”.
The destruction of America is inevitable.

    *****

The metaphysical crowd have a saying:
“One door closes, a hundred other doors open.”

Our ‘next America’ will probably not resemble our ‘old America’.
The most successful ‘next Americans’ will be the most adaptable.

Scripture tells us — and this is proven over hundreds of generations:
    Cast aside your childish possessions.

    1. “some genetic groups are physically incapable of living within the European/American system of laws and justice.
In particular, individuals from sub-Saharan Afrika are genetically unable to meet European/American standards of civilization.”

I hope I am simply missing a quote/attribution here, and you are quoting someone else? (whose opinions are just as misguided as Soros’)… because this statement is flat out horrifying. I have a degree in biology and this is just not how genetics works. I also read my Bible a lot, have done for decades, and it’s not how “in Christ there is no partiality” and “love thy neighbor” works, either. Yikes.

        1. The video you have linked is a clip showing a badly behaving student throwing some papers or a notebook at her teacher while others applaud.

I can’t even begin to fathom how it supports your statement starting with “statistically…” You’re using an unruly group of children to validate sweeping generalizations about hundreds of millions of humans? Because white kids never ever act up in class? Because respecting your teacher is unique to the “European/American standards of civilization?”

I’d love to give you a statistics lesson as much as I’d love to give Large Marge one about genetics, but alas, I gotta go. My (white) students are screaming and hitting each other. Time to change diapers, make lunch and tuck in for nap. Nobody else to call in, when Mama’s the teacher.

          1. Bear, I think if you squint enough and maybe close one eye that your biases will be confirmed. It goes without saying that there are a million or so videos like this. 80% of people killed in this country are killed by African Americans. Ditto for other violent crimes. I spent 20 years in the military and today at age 77 I know many African Americans who are good people. My grand daughter is African American and I love her. Her cousins who I have known for 10 years are a sweet and loving kids. Her two uncles are friends of mine, and her mother always gives me a big hug when I see here and tells me she loves me which I tell her as well. Her grandmother as a very nice lady who always comes to me first when we visit to give me a hug (we are both cancer survivors). The man in my life that I most look up to except for my father is an African American who was a CMSGT over me for about 7 years. I could go on and on. But it does not change statistics. And statistics is what I referred to not hope or bias or blindness to the truth. I wish it weren’t what it is. I can think of things we, as a country and government, could do to turn it around. But everyone of those things is 180 degrees opposite from what BLM and liberals want. So I expect it to get worse. Hiding from the truth and hoping for the best is not a plan, it is wishful thinking.

          2. “Bear, I think if you squint enough and maybe close one eye that your biases will be confirmed.”

I try hard to be aware of my biases, because I value objectivity and critical thinking. So can you please help by explaining exactly where, in my above nine sentences, I said something biased? Webster defines bias as, “…a personal and sometimes unreasoned judgment : PREJUDICE.”

“It goes without saying that there are a million or so videos like this. 80% of people killed in this country are killed by African Americans. Ditto for other violent crimes.”

A million or so videos…sounds extremely accurate. Definitely not exaggeration or hyperbole… I will grant you that there have been in the course of history many MORE than a million instances of children acting up in school, because that is what children do. I asked above how this video validates your sweeping claims, and I still don’t understand how it might. And again, this video is an anecdote. That is not remotely the same as a statistic. Would you kindly cite (a link would be better) your sources for those crime rates? FBI, DOJ, other?

“I spent 20 years in the military”

Thank you for your service, and I mean that honestly.

“and today at age 77 I know many African Americans who are good people. I could go on and on.”

Ah yes. The very old, very tired argument of, “I cannot possibly be a racist because I love my black [family member].” And “they’re [insert group you’re Othering] not all like that of course; the ones I know are *special*.” Does your former CMSGT know that you consider him genetically incapable of living within this system of laws and justice, or of meeting this standard of civilization? (I’d personally suspect that he’s heard it all, and he’d be rather disappointed but not entirely surprised.)

“But it does not change statistics. And statistics is what I referred to not hope or bias or blindness to the truth.”

Yes please. I love numbers. Spent years learning about and then tutoring statistics, calculus, algebra, geometry, differential equations, all of it. (Almost got another degree in math, but had to leave school to care for family members in crisis.) So let’s discuss statistics. Actual statistics, not anecdotal Youtube videos or sweeping generalizations. Do you have any? Let’s analyze them!

“Hiding from the truth and hoping for the best is not a plan, it is wishful thinking.”

It is true that humans have many different cultures and different viewpoints, and that sometimes it is hard for us to acclimate to or accept others. But to state as Large Marge did, that “some genetic groups are physically incapable of living within the European/American system of laws and justice.
In particular, individuals from sub-Saharan Afrika are genetically unable to meet European/American standards of civilization.” is COMPLETELY fallacious. Long chains of deoxyribonucleic acids, and the incredibly complex mechanisms by which they are maintained and replicated and especially expressed, know absolutely nothing of politics or government. A person is a person is a person, and the idea that some persons are genetically “inferior” to others has long been thoroughly scientifically debunked. It was always spiritually inaccurate as well.

As the Word says, “…Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.” (Colossians 3:11) and again in Acts 10, where Peter says through the Holy Spirit, “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.”

          3. If what you say is true these videos of looting of Target and Walmart would be 70% white, 15% Hispanic and 14% black. But oddly, when you look at the videos time after time the looters of these stores are 100% black. How is that possible?

I can’t speak for Large Marge, but I think what happened is ‘her’ statement was too honest and that isn’t allowed in a PC environment. You are not supposed to notice huge differences in culture UNLESS it makes a favored culture look good.

“It is what it is.” Someone famous said that recently. But in truth it may be what it is but you cannot say what it is if it does not fit the popular narrative. Because we cannot tell the truth about the problem we cannot fix it. And that is a shame.

        2. Bear’s analysis is correct. Your/the conclusions violate an old law, “correlation does not equal causation” A simple example. Let’s say you check your car oil every Saturday and its low. You also notice that every Thursday and Friday when driving to work a red light appears on the dash board. You decide the red light is causing your engine to lose oil. Correlation. In reality the cause is low oil level, the effect is the light coming on. In your data set I can think of numerous other causes for the observations you state. For example, what if 40% of the people in those schools go to school hungry, and that hunger reduces their self control and and ability to concentrate (legitimate cause and effect, risk for preppers trying to survive). Or what if the kids constantly see their parents fighting because minimum wage doesn’t pay enough for food, shelter and clothing so the kids learn emotional anger as a way of communicating. What if the kids don’t get enough sleep because their housing is too cold or warm, the effects of sleep deprivation can be found on survival blog and in studies. What if the kids father is in jail due to unevenly applied drug laws designed to lock up blacks which then affecting the kids. My kids are very disciplined, but that isn’t from genetics. My son has benefited from a very loving household, a very safe environment, always had enough food, never had to worry about financial security, a safe neighborhood that doesn’t have gangs or bullets flying, an involved parent setting expectations of behavior, and a carefully selected peer group who lived in similar households. All of these factors affect the behavior of kids and you have done nothing to eliminate any of these as a cause of the behavior you might have observed. Recommend you take a statistics class too. It’s a useful knowledge base to have. You have a data set, not statistics.

        1. I would not use Colin Powell as your example. He was given every break and promoted very rapidly- justified perhaps- by President Reagan, and ran for President as a republican. Yet he voted for Obama strictly because of his race. What a fool.
Like it or not, there ARE differences between the races and no amount of wishing or manipulating the tests in school or requirements to fill a job can change that fact. Here in America, we give everyone an equal chance to make something of themselves as it should be. But bending the rules for some groups and not for other groups does not really help them since they never do what is necessary to gain the education and skills to ever be equal. A great percentage of some races are like pets to us. They cannot support or even feed themselves without money and food and shelter being given to them. We treat them well but they resent the fact that they do not get the same lifestyle as native-born Americans or the people who come here from all over the world who DO succeed despite coming here with nothing but the desire to work hard and prove themselves equal to the task of achieving prosperity. People from Italy Ireland Vietnam, Korea China, Japan and every other country under the sun. Colin Powell was a success because he worked hard but he still wanted to tilt the playing field unfairly in favor of the unqualified by electing Obama.

          1. I would not use Colin Powell as your example. He was given every break and promoted very rapidly- justified perhaps- by President Reagan, and ran for President as a republican. Yet he voted for Obama strictly because of his race.

Was he really, or are those the fools who ignore the reason´s he did that?
btw he said exactly the opposite, he didn´t support Obama for race reasons

      1. It is true…. My wife and I go to Africa periodically for missions trips (Christian). Without fail the first thing we do when we exit the aircraft is dig wells for water and build homes (shacks) for people.

Africans are a laid back folk….

After slavery, and they were freed, many black folk (look up on Youtube), have stated it was the worst thing for the black man to come off the plantation… Why? Because plugging the most laid back folk into the most advanced system (American capitalism) was a recipe for disaster (according to multiple black interviews after the civil war – look up online – as there are many).

So here we have the government dole primarily used for a certain minority group, and that group is exploited in political races as to vote for the Candidate which can help them the most -give out the most free handouts…

Sorry if this is not written softer, but these are our facts we see in Africa/America…. Can’t sugar coat this stuff.

I call that false, no reputable scientist would say that, especially at the high standard of science and scientist in scandinavian nations

  8. Having visited with a contractor recently from Bozeman Mt, he made the statement that the two yrs leading up to this summer were busy, but this yr has been crazy in building houses and commercial buildings. And another thing he said was, between one half and two thirds of the people building houses in Bozeman the last few yrs are from the west coast ( Calif , Oregon and and Wash with most coming from Calif ) and another thing he said was that they have some really goofy ideas, from construction to the way things are being run and should be run.

  9. Maybe America has been too hung up on representational govt and needs to consider other options, like full democracy in order to have time to consider how it got to this point. Both parties scream they won’t accept election results…..so??

    1. @SCGAL- NOT TRUE ! I am sure that the republicans will accept the results of the election when Donald Trump wipes the floor with Retarded Joe and the Ho Ho Ho.
And “democracy” is just a code word for socialism. We need to permanently rid our country of all forms of socialism and all socialists in order to fix our country.

  10. Woke up in the Redoubt this morning! What a great feeling. The Uhaul truck photo is apropos for me, as my son drove a UHaul truck yesterday, and I followed him driving his SUV. He is joining his wife and children, after sending them on ahead while he finished one last month of work.

My son’s former work buddies and boss think he is crazy for giving up such a great paying job. They don’t understand that he values his families’ safety more than riches. So, here they are, making a fresh start as modern pioneers. They are renting a home using their savings. My son has been actively seeking work and interviewing.

Prayers for him to find work would be much appreciated.

(While only 33, he has the business mind of a fifty year old.)

Well, gotta go help unload UHaul truck and SUV. I look forward to the future when it’s my turn to move. Blessings and prayers for each of you today, especially those in the path of Laura. Krissy

      1. Thank you, LSM! Yes, I will keep you updated, and same to you. Any improvements on jobs, hours, pay or pressure canning? Please give us prayer requests as you feel comfortable. Blessings to you, Krissy

  11. I checked for the new book in Thornton, CO, yesterday and it was not there. An employee said it sometimes takes a week or so to get a new publication on the shelves after it’s scheduled release.

  12. Drones are even in our small town in Montana. The police are using them. Good thing we also have lots of bald eagles nesting along the river that flows through town. And when the salmon run, they’ll bring in more eagles.

The old starlight PVS-4 checked good last night, but a picatinny riser is needed to bring the scope up a bit. An illuminator was added to assist on cloud covered dark nights in the deep woods. Until I can get a hold of another AR, it will have to be mounted on an 03A3 with a custom picatinny rail. I prefer the this old heavy scope over the new Sightmark Photon 4.5×42, a digital camera that requires IR illumination. If you use this kind of Gen 1 level NV, pay extra and get the 940nm illuminator that is not possible to see passed 10 yards. The 850mn illuminators can be seen. These things eat batteries, but they do have unspoken advantages as they can adapt to bright lights, and be used during the day. A red dot is mounted on the side that allows the rifle to be used with out the NV on. It has a wider field of view for up close encounters. Although 2.5 pounds heavier, it is an versatile package that even a poor country boy can afford, and I live on next to nothing. Gotta to have it, so I will do without to get it done.

  13. The migration out of California and other urban areas into rural states is not a good thing. While it does provide some evidence that liberalism doesn’t work, with an “I told you so” kind of attitude, liberal migrants will destroy their new home. They don’t leave their ideas behind, but bring them along to their new home. It is happening all over the west. Residents of rural areas hit the jackpot as property values go up. But the downside is that their way of life is threatened. My own state of Nevada used to be a conservative, yet live and let live type of state. Not anymore, and never again. Utah, Idaho, Arizona, Colorado, same story. What the liberals don’t understand is that the wonderful qualities that make those places great places to live don’t need any change or “progress”. Newcomers say “this place would be great if only it had _________”. That is when conservatives know the game has been lost, and it is time to move. But where do you move? They are coming for you Wyoming and Montana.

    1. Funny you say that… The same thing happened to California in the 70’s… Where do you suppose all those folks came from?…

Actually, from the looks of things, the new batch of Lefties is gunning for Texas…

      1. Same thing has happened in Key West, Fl many years ago. And now N. Fl. again as people move in from the NorthEast and after about six months they want the area to act more like where they came from. After all, the old areas knew so much more than the new area. I moved from down South to where I live now, originally from the NorthEast before 20 years in the Navy, and tell the new imports “If we aren’t like what you had back home than Go Back Home.”

      2. I left Texas in 2010, lived the Dallas area…..watched the east coast and west coast demon-crats move in and Austin was a kommifornia haven and now almost ten years later it has become a septic tank of liberal ideas and means. I moved to Nevada and we now have very out of control demon-cratic soros funded state government. They have violated the state constitution, and graft and corruption are off the chart. Trying to institute a state income tax, have passed over three hundred bills in the middle of the night. Created a mileage tax on cars and trucks, passed a mandatory metering for a water usage tax
on private wells. Gov just purchased two 14 million dollars airplanes. Now I am looking at Idaho, but feel like the deadly virus of socialism has been systematically spread through our country. God help us,
I am in my 70s never thought I would witness the rampart dismantling Of our country that is
        Growing and getting more lethal.

    2. I’ve always been a big promoter of folks from liberal states coming to my state of Oklahoma. However I keep reading about them bringing their liberal, leftist policies with them so now I take back every good thing that I have been saying about living in Oklahoma. So listen closely those of you who are considering moving here. Oklahoma is a horrible place to live. You won’t like it here. We have many tornadoes every single year and you will likely be killed. And our slang is so bad that we are barely able to speak proper English. Of course its hard to speak properly when you only have three teeth anyway. When Jeff Foxworthy visits here he goes back home with enough of material to last a year. Our women are so ugly they can make a freight train take a dirt road. When the movie Deliverance was being made the producers made multiple trips to Oklahoma for “inspiration.” No, you won’t like it here my California friend.

  14. I think this is very telling as to the propaganda spewed by the main stream media and the control that China has over this country. The MSM, including PBS, all cut away before the blind Chinese dissident spoke at the RNC for fact checking the previous speaker or to let their panel discuss the proceedings. The MSM returned to the RNC only after the Chinese gentleman finished speaking. He had a powerful message.

There is no free speech when the media edits and cancels words that are spoken. The sheeple only hear what the “dear leaders” want them to hear.

  15. Few have the guts to see and call it for what it is. This is apart of the corporate take down of the U.S. that has also donated over 100 million to Antifia/BLM to arm, equip, and train their communist revolutionaries. Our enemy has millions of useful idiots that will receive unlimited funding and resources. It is the same elite group that did this to Russia, and China, and now us.

Know thy enemy, and know thy self. They are dead serious, and will crash the currency to install a digital form. The riots are planned and executed. These are not random events. Move at warp speed as all hell could break loose before and more likely, soon after the election.

        1) Here’s a PARTIAL start:

        https://www.opensecrets.org/outsidespending/summ.php?cycle=2016&disp=D&type=V&superonly=N

        2) Maybe you can tell us who dumped over $1 Billion in Dark –i.e, Untraceable — money into our elections:

        https://www.opensecrets.org/dark-money/alchemy-infographic

        hee hee

        3) But even the above only tells a partial story. To the above list I would add the billionaires who control the major News Monopolies.

        a) Jeff Bezos purchased the Washington Post , which has been running 10+ attacks on Trump every day since 2016.

        b) Brian L Roberts controls Telecomms giant Comcast “The Worst Company in America” which in turn owns MSNBC, Sky, and NBC — and has also waged a constant war on Trump.

        https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comcast

        c) The Google billionaire owners , who also control Youtube. For the past 4 years, Google News has listed articles by every nobody on the Internet attacking Trump — while being strangely blind to acts committed by Trump’s critics. Youtube’s censorship of conservatives is well known.

        d) But ownership is not the only way Money controls the News Media.
Advertising money can be turned on or off — witness recent attempts by the BRITISH firm Unilever to bully Facebook into leftist censorship by cutting off advertising.

      2. @Y

PS I forgot to mention Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim — who bailed the New York Times out of impending bankruptcy with a huge loan. Whereupon the Times started advocating for illegal immigration — without asking why Carlos Slim’s countrymen were so poor and how Carlos got so rich.

      3. I do not know for sure, but Soros is not the top dog. So why ask? I’m not here for a p. match. If you’d like to know some of the names, read The Creature From Jeckle Island. These people are satanists and built their mansions on top of grounds where children were sacrificed to native gods. There they met to conspire and created the Fed, a system to control the money and the world. It has proven to be diabolically brilliant as it sucked the wealth out the world, and made these wealthy, insanely rich and evil beyond our ability to imagine. It is a multi generational plan that is progressed as planned.

Just got back after my vehicle broke down. It was fixed road side using duct tape, cordage, and a survival knife, and a 10mm wrench to attach a stainless steel USGI canteen full of water dated 1944 to an igniter for the coil, to act as it’s heat sink. My other homemade heat sink was not large enough. It worked beautifully, but now I gotta go invent something new, and fix it right. I need the canteen for water. It is a hot firing igniter that makes the motor run better, a $30 dollar item that replaces a $300 dollar item… Read the book.

        1. Apologies Tunnel Rabbit. Not looking for a fight here. Only looking for people to call a spade a spade. Too many people just call these people the elites and don’t identify them. They are skirting most of their true identity.

Wish we could take them off of their pedestals without harming the rest of the Tribe people who are generally ignorant sheeple and will be victims of their satanistic greed and control. The rest of us, that is irregardless of our religious background, we’re also gonna be victims.

    1. You are right, Tunnel Rabbit . The rioters are paid to riot and burn. Riots are not free. Someone has to pay the rioters to show up. Someone has to feed them and have water handy for them to drink. Someone has to tell them where to meet and where to go. Someone has to tell them when to be there. Someone has to plant pallets of bricks on the streets where they will be. Someone is George Soros and his evil bosses and associates. You are right- we don’t know their names. They are the men behind the central banks. But even THEY will soon fall. Just watch.

      1. Spot on, I’ve been saying all along that these people are paid. No one is that motivated to go out and “protest” every night at the drop of a hat. Today it’s a police shooting, tomorrow it’s for the Postal Service, the next day-who knows. Doesn’t matter, keep paying them and they’ll keep coming out. These people aren’t “out of work”, this is their job! And I agree Soros is probably behind a lot of this.

  16. Alaska will end up being the last redoubt of America. The encroachment into Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming is now unavoidable, and you will all be over-run soon with libtards wanting to remake your communities in their image.

When you have had enough, I’ll be sure and leave the light on fer ya.

  17. The takedown of Conservative groups on Socialist…er… SOCIAL media only hardens my position as to who I’ll vote for in November. Funny; if the Left is so “right,” why do they need to silence those who they feel to be wrong?…

  18. Dear Mr. Rawles….The Costco in Merced California had approximately 3 dozen or so copies of your new book in their book section. That was at around 2:00 pm Pacific time today, Thursday, 27th of August, 2020. Also….I bought one. A nicely put together volume. I think that it will encourage a lot of people to take prepping more seriously, and give them a good start on what to do next. In case I get hit by a truck….thanks for everything you and your group are doing for the country.

  19. One of the men who discovered DNA has done extensive research on DNA and race. His findings show that blacks have a lower intelligence and are more prone to violence. It is in their DNA. Look at the African continent, no countries there except for three have ever had rule of law or economic prowess. The three that did were white ruled and when they became black ruled went to crap. The three countries are South Africa, Rhodesia and Kenya. The blacks can not get past tribalism.
