Idaho national parks brought more than $37 million into the state’s economy. JWR’s Comment: Gosh, if they were converted into State parks, just think how many of the park employees would be recruited locally, rather than from the pool of US National Park Service employees.

Reader DSV sent this: Montana case of mother who lost her child due to health issues shines spotlight on child protective service abuses. DSV’s Comments: Over the past few years I have read many stories similar to this one. I thought they were somehow blown out of proportion or simply not true. How could this be in our country. Then I found out the underlying reason: MONEY. A lot paid out for foster parents and an additional $70,000 paid to the state by the Federal government each child adopted out! It is sickening. Many of the children are [deleted] taken from parents who are never charged with crimes, and it disgusting. I do no understand how these children are not returned to their actual parents. More has to be done to STOP this child selling and the state making money. The children are taken for any reason and most times just no reason. Just nice children to be adopted out. I had heard in the past Arizona was a high rate state for taking children to get Federal monies. South Dakota also would take many children from native American families. Note that Montana has another high rate. Please try to spread the word on this disgusting practice.

Wyoming (Wyoming Home Costs)

Here’s the Salary You Need to Afford the Average Wyoming Home. A snippet:

“We’ve seen plenty of lists of the most expensive homes out there. You know, the homes that could be featured on Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. However, what about for just a standard home. Recently GoBankingRates conducted a survey and found the minimum salary you would need to purchase an average home in every state.

In Wyoming you need a salary of $44,600.

You monthly mortgage payments would be $1,115. In order to cover the rest of the bills and maintain a decent living, you need a monthly income of $3,716.67. The median price of a house in Wyoming is $237,500. This is cheaper than our neighbors in Colorado and Utah.”

  1. I’m fairly certain more foster children die in state custody (my grandchild among them, murdered by his foster mother) than those of illegal immigrants. Why, do you suppose, does this not ever make the news?

    1. I don’t know. I am very sorry for your loss. It is sickening that this continues but hopefully it stops soon. There are similar issues with ‘professional guardians’ taking over people’s lives and money and also medical kidnapping of children as well as adults. It seems there is money involved. Glenn Beck is one of the biggest national voices I’ve heard. There are some smaller groups but some have been silenced with the vaccine silencing of those who wish at least informed consent and maybe the 1986 law changed to allow true big pharma responsibility for their products. Somehow many of these issues become intertwined. The word really needs to be put out on main stream news. Again sorry for your loss and God Bless You.

  2. Arizona took my youngest grandson from my daughter because her rights had been terminated on her older children. They placed him with a couple who have had non other children in their home since they got him. They are trying to terminate her rights to let them adopt them. I legally adopted the older children. They made no effort that I know of to find family even though they knew about me and the older kids. I have passed the background check and the home study to foster or adopt on an interstate compact. Arizona Dfs says that I did not adequately passed, and that they will not recommend me to the judge. It has become apparent that they never intended to return him to family. His rights and the rights of our family have been continuously violated, but because I can’t afford a lawyer, they are getting away with this. They need to be totally shut down. I have complained to ombudsman, but have received no reply. They took him from the hospital after he was born.

  3. I guess all Survival Blog readers should be bombarding the state of montana to stop this wicked disgusting behavior. Maybe one day they will steal the wrong person’s children and suffer the wrath they deserve.

  4. Yes they should as well as all places. With money from the govt involved an easy place for states to make money. I don’t think that was the intent of the law to help out states that adopted children out. But they seem to have taken advantage of this and are destroying families and children’s lives instead of making new lives for the truly in need.
