  1. Re: government banning dogs from Montana barber shops. I’ve been a few Montana barber shops. All had doors that swung both ways. Problem solved.

As for dogs posing a ‘safety concern’, every Montanan I know is armed! Fido had better be a quick study.

  2. While many disagree as to the exact effects of an EMP or a Carrington Event (solar flare), I’d suggest that if you are buying a gun safe, make sure to get a mechanical combination lock, not an electronic lock. It could really ruin your day to see the marauders approaching and have no way to access your firearms or other items.

  3. Barber shop and salon owners, and no one else including the government, should have the sole authority to ban or allow anyone, or anything (including dogs, cats or cigarette smoking customers) in their own facilities.

It’s not within the government’s authority to tell you who or what you can, or cannot, allow onto your own property.

If you want to allow dogs, or forbid purple haired transvestites, that is your, and yours alone, business and privilege. It isn’t even something we should be allowing the government to dictate to us.

  4. Disappointed in the excitement about Amazon proximity. Do your own research and make your own conclusions, but there is plenty to be found. Besides their monopolization of commerce, they have a terrible record on privacy protection with the now-ubiquotous “Alexa”, they are in bed with the Alphabet Soup agencies, and are attempting to control the media narrative through Jeff Bezos’s ownership of the liberal Washington Post.
