Gear (Can Sealers)
The topic of #10 size cans often comes up in SurvivalBlog. Most folks don’t realize that there are small hand-cranked sealing machines available. And, BTW, if you use a side-opening can opener, the cans can be re-sealed, with just a slight loss of height. The model that we have at the Rawles Ranch is identical to this one, albeit manufactured under another brand name: All American Flywheel #10 Can Sealer.
By the way, similar hand crank sealing machines for the smaller #2 cans (roughly quart size) are also available. Here is an example: All-American Master Hand Crank #2 Can Sealer

I have had an old #2 canner for years but was never able to find anything less than a pallet of cans to buy. Where dose one buy a smaller amount of cans?
Try here (Minimum purchase case of 45 cans): https://www.houseofcans.com/105-lined-inside-603-700-can-p-1826.html?cPath=124_36_88
Here’s the #2 cans link (196 cans minimum). If that’s too many, perhaps you can partner with a fellow prepper and split them?
