Gear (Thermal Night Vision):
I’m often asked by consulting clients about thermal night vision equipment. The full military specification gear is still quite expensive. But the second generation civilian monoculars are fairly affordable. Note that thermal night vision gear is sold by several of our advertisers, including JRH Enterprises and Ready Made Resources.

I’ve never been one to really buy/by into what I felt were gimmicky devices for every day type activities. With that said I was incredibly impressed with how easily and quickly the Maglula UpLULA mag loader is to use. A friend had one and let me try it out while doing some target practice and I purchased one as soon as I could. It work for double stack and on single stack magazines. You get a good rhythm and next thing you know all of your mags are loaded. Save the sore thumbs for another day.
