The Word of God teaches us that God is good, created all things good, but that He allowed evil to happen. If He had never allowed evil, there would be no opportunity for exercising freedom. Freedom includes the possibility of being wrong. The war in heaven was transferred to our planet. Man fell, and now, man is evil and must be redeemed and reformed back into the image of God. Nature also was changed, to function in a realm where death and evil exists. Thus, when God makes an end of evil, He creates a new heaven and a new earth.
