How is it that a political party can be cowardly,dishonest,and totally lacking in common sense and still be successful?
My guess of why a political party can stay successful is because of the average citizens ambivalence, lack of personal responsibility, and desire to have others (gummint) do most things you should be doing for yourself. That, along with lack of investigative ability or desire to learn the “truth”, listening to politicians tell us what we WANT to hear, not what we NEED to hear. IE: It’s not the gummints job to do this or provide that, which leads to violating the Constitution and role of gummint outlined in it.
I still like TR, even though he was one of the worst offenders of the Constitution of all presidents. I admire him because of the three listed qualities, Courage, Honesty, and Common sense. He was steadfast in his convictions.
