            1. This is very encouraging, and I’ve been tracking this news as well! My belief is that we are going to learn a lot about not only SARS-COV-2, but all current efforts are also going to teach us about the prevention and treatment of many other ailments and illnesses. From this challenge, medical science may produce significant positive advances that improve (and preserve) life.

               Also watching the development of long acting antibodies which are very promising for several reasons in the prevention and treatment of COVID-19. At least one of these may be in production (or could be shortly) here in the United States.

               Many Americans have decided that a Therapeutic is a ~safer option, than getting in line for a new vaccine.

               When I went to school, the determination of the value of a company stock was basically determined by:
               1. A price to earnings ratio,
               2. Dividend rate, and
               3. Book value of the company.

               Ron is correct about the inflated value of the Stock Market.
               The big investors will try to limit their exposure to complete financial loss.

            4. Clarification… Long acting antibody therapies are not vaccines. This is a different medical strategy that conveys immediate immunity. I believe this approach has the potential to put the COVID-19 crisis into the dustbin of history.

2. I have to ask this crowd a perhaps crazy question. At least it seems crazy to me but it nags me.

   Reason says this election is totally done. Trump has effectively conceded. The electoral college votes are certified. Most of his supporters in any meaningful position have called it quits. We seem very done.

   Yet I have this nagging feeling that maybe we are not done. The only semi logical piece of evidence is that the Democrats want him out even before the 20th via impeachment or the 25th Amendment. And that can be explained by spite and malice and a desire to totally discredit him and demoralize his supporters.

   But I feel like beyond spite and malice maybe I smell fear amongst them even though they appear to hold all the cards. Could be totally my imagination.

   Does anyone else have a feeling that there is a storm brewing BEFORE January 20th? ( I think most of us suspect big problems AFTER January 20th.) That this situation is not stable and decided for some unknown reason?

   Or is it just that after a year (four years really) of twists and turns I have just come to the conclusion that nothing can go in a straight line without a surprise for even two weeks?

   1. You aren’t alone. I’ve been accused of being fatalistic but there’s this little voice that won’t shut up. Hoping against hope that some miracle will happen to expose the traitors and criminals.

      1. I read somewhere that every year some 8 million Chinese fly into the U.S. It was a simple fact based on airline reporting. Why is that? How many of them are spies of one sort or another? How many of them buy property and assets of Americans taxed into poverty? When the great reset comes the only valiue I can see from learning Mandarin is that you will know approximately when they are going to shoot you in the back of the head. Our leaders are stupid or duplicitous or both and their only purpose in life is to enrich themselves at our expense. They have sold off America while we slept. They sold “citizenship” and allowed massive illegal immigration. The did this to dilute and replace your vote. This last election has laid bare their plan for us and it ain’t pretty.

   3. Our fight will continue in the courts, in the legislatures, and in the arena of ideas. Many of these processes will continue well beyond January 20th. The cases, arguments, and ideas have great merit. Our Republic must have fair, honest, transparent, and lawful elections. Every citizen should insist on this — regardless of party affiliation. Attempts by Democrats to toxify President Trump and Trump supporters who are seeking fair, honest, transparent, and lawful elections will be counterproductive.

         4. JBH- i also have some doubt that this coup against Trump is over by the 20th. He made a 180 degree turn, in conceding, but I have to believe that he and others at the top know how the left works and knew they would use the mass gathering of Trump supporters to cause panic, much like the Nazi’s in Germany prior to WW2 and it is possible that he did so as a tactic to take off the pressure on him and his people, because it sure did not “sound” like him. The fact that the demos want him out before the 20th also smells, they may know something is coming also.. He is our commander in chief till then.

         1. I understand your concerns, and I share those too… Recent events have been terribly discouraging, and yet I am hopeful for a constructive resolution. There are some legislative actions in process, and we may start to see movement there. It’s late, no question about that. Too late? I surely hope not even though I am also very deeply troubled by all of it.

            …and I also believe that the rush to silence supporters of President Trump would have come whether or not there had been any upset or adverse incident at the rally on the 6th. Leftists were just too ready to silence too many. This had to have been in their action plans for some time — just my view.       I have similar feelings about our political events. Things just do not seem finished at this time. I do not know DJT but he appears to me to be a man of surprises and not one to loudly broadcast his moves ahead of time. It looks like a bumpy road ahead of us .

   6. Remember the pendulum always swings back. If the Senate 50/50 split can hold out for the next 2 year cycle elections then we might be okay. Not all Democrats are against the Constitution, or rule of law, or non-patriots.

I’ve heard him interviewed several times, find him thoughtful, reasoned and intelligent, and believe he represents a greater number of Democrats than we might realize. Perhaps there will be more who decide to make the change! In fact, we may see seismic shifts involving the old guard of both major parties. Maybe the formation of a new party?

         Twenty years ago Pat Buchanan said, “If the GOP does not do something about mass immigration, mass immigration will do something about the GOP. By naturalizing and registering half a million to a million foreign-born a year, the Democrats are locking up future presidential elections and throwing away the key.”

         They won’t be done tabulating the 2020 census numbers until sometime later this year but one thing is already certain: the white population continues to decline as a percentage of the population. Between 2000 and 2010, the white population lost 10 percentage points, and nine more between 2010 and 2020. Much of that was due to immigration boosting non-white numbers but the most disturbing number of all from the 2020 census is that the white population actually lost numbers for the first time since the United States was founded. Demographics is destiny. Most of these immigrants are voting Democrat. IMO the pendulum won’t be swinging back to the GOP ever again unless some sort of unforeseen major even occurs over the next four years, and even then, the GOP’s chances are slim.

4. Ammunition continues to rise and be even shorter supply for not as popular calibers.
   Last Friday I stopped in Academy and all they has was 12GA steel waterfowl shot. I stopped in 2 days ago and they had half of what was on the shelf before. No other to be seen or found.
   It would appear, rightfully so, that manufactures are focused on the most popular caliber production right now.
   Reloading components continue to dwindle and disappear as well.
   Home laser setups, airsoft and adult air rifles will keep your skills up as well as dry run techniques at home.
   For those who paid attention and stocked up take a percentage and use it for training and practice. I caution you against taking any more than decided on though because we know it’s fun and it will disappear.
   JWR has spoken many times about magazines as investments. In the 90s I traded 2 19rd Glock “drop free” mags with no “LEO/Military use only” markings for a Marlin 30-30 scoped with ammo. They were just that valuable.

9. JBH, you are not alone in these nagging feelings. Every time God works a miracle, besides the very air He allows us to breathe, He does it in a manner that allows ONLY HIM to recieve the glory. 13. Today is an ongoing virtual kristallnacht. Twitter, youtube, Facebook, Instagram, payment processors, hosting providers, you name it… are suspending accounts of anyone who supported Trump. With Congress trying to get Pence to invoke the 25th Amendment and Congress filing letters of impeachment – with less than 2 weeks left of the Presidency – it smells like panic on steroids.

    I expect a time of persecution is coming for Christians and conservatives. Good time to get those last minute beans, bullets, and bandaids, along with some cash. 14. Things are happening so fast my head is spinning. I don’t think Trump intended for there to be violence at the Capitol, but it’s most certainly being spun that way. Conservatives are being portrayed as the reason for all evil in this country and the media is on board. Big tech is shutting down communication for those it doesn’t approve, and we are manipulated like I’ve never seen before. The “thought police” are dictating our feelings and most don’t see what’s happening. We are being shaped and formed by what big tech and the media wish for us to see. This is not freedom, this is pure evil.

16. I have a few thoughts. Is America being punished for killing all of the unborn babies that abortionists have murdered over the past decades ? Despite the fact that we WON the election and it was STOLEN ? Despite the fact that we Christians prayed for Trump to win ? Perhaps we must go through the crucible of depression and civil war and servitude to the Chinese to purify our nation and reduce the population by a few million soy boy and soy girl SJWs and other useless and/or harmful and dangerous traitors.
