“I do appreciate the article you published today on the “New Neighbors”, the Amish. Very interesting article and heartwarming to see people able to survive without “Big Brother’s ‘help.’ “

Some historical curiosa from Ian at Forgotten Weapons: Belton Repeating Flintlock: A Semiautomatic Rifle in 1785. JWR’s Comment: This lays to rest the anti-second Amendment argument that the Constitution’s authors “…could not have foreseen advances in rapid-fire weapons” at the time of the enactment of the Constitution in 1789. That is an absurd leftist canard.

I found a piece by Eric Peters by way of The Burning Platform, wherein he describes the cognitive and physical decline of Creepy Joe Biden: A Lot Can Happen in Four Years. Here is an excerpt:
“This will not last much longer – because it can’t.
It is possible they may be able to keep pretending for the next four months – or at least, long enough to make it to the election, which Biden’s caretakers are still in charge of. After that, nature – and politics – will take their course. No one who has ever known an elderly person already clearly suffering from dementia/Alzheimer’s believes that person will be better or even the same after another year has passed.
How about four more years? By which time, Biden will be 85-years-old. If he makes it that far, which is actuarily unlikely.”

Video: Homemade Pot-in-Pot Refrigerator “Off Grid Fridge” cools air up to 40F (evaporative cooler/chiller). JWR’s Comment: This might literally be a lifesaver for diabetics that need to keep their supply of insulin cool, during a grid power failure.

And lastly, a fun video: Insane Cave Mansions You Won’t Believe.
