  1. I have purchased gold from Camino Coin Company since 2019, and recommend them. The current owners are an informed liberty-minded family that I have grown to trust, and they are always a planned stop when I travel to California. Their price for 1 oz American Gold Eagles is always the Kitco Ask + 3%.

Except, that is, during these very recent extraordinary times where they are simply out of stock, like many physical gold dealers, because of the storm coming in.

  2. Good ammo at a low price is now hard to find.

This a killer deal on 7×57 ammunition at Palmetto State Armory, for only .88 cents/round for 140 grain round nosed hunting ammunition. Muzzle velocity is advertise to be around a healthy 2,650fps. Round nosed bullets are arguably better hunting bullets for typical hunting ranges as the they hit much harder. However, if compared to modern spire point bullets that have a high ballistic coefficient, round nose bullets cannot compete with the much flatter trajectory of modern hunting bullets when targets are well beyond 200 yards. At this price, I would be inclined to simply aim a tad higher. The difference in drop at 500 yards is about 70 inches verses 50 inches for spire point bullets.

Component cost to reload this cartridge that includes brass case, primer, powder and bullet would be about $1.20/rd. This estimate assumes that it is possible to purchase powder and primers at last years low prices. It is currently impossible to find these components for sale anywhere at any price. They currently have over 2,000 rounds available. Do not hesitate, or else it will be gone. At this price, buy the ammo, and then get the rifle.

    1. Over 2,000 rounds of that ‘killer deal’ on 7×57 ammunition at Palmetto State Armory, for only .88 cents/round for 140 grain round nosed hunting ammunition, mentioned here very early this morning, approximately 9 hours, ago is sold out. Soft point hunting ammunition in popular calibers tend to run at least $1.50/rd up to $4.50/rd as seen on ammoseek.com. FMJ is full metal jacket, and not as effective as expanding hunting ammunition, and should not be used for hunting, but only a last resort. Unless it is precision ammunition, or ‘match grade’, in general, FMJ will always be the lowest price. It will work.

This is not a killer deal, but at $1.25/rd. is a very good one. They have over 2,000 rounds in stock.

  3. An actress was fired after posting to social media, because Lucasfilm said that her posts “denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent and unacceptable.”

Here’s one of the things she wrote:

“Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers but by their neighbors…even by children. Because history is edited, most people today don’t realize that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their own neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is that any different from hating someone for their political views,” she wrote.

    Ignorance is strength….freedom is slavery….

    1. I heard a rumor:

Lucasfilm is not in any way associated with Star Wars originator George Lucas.
Lucasfilm is part of the Disney organizations.
Nor is ‘Disney’ in any way associated with Walt Disney.

Some say the Disney management is woker than regular woke, hence the abysmal return-on-investment for their latest several dozen movie ‘franchises’.
      .
      .
I heard another rumor about Lucasfilm:

The delightful Gina Carano was dumped by the less-than-delightful hollywood elites after she filled-in a questionnaire about “…her preferred pronouns…”:

      * Beep/bop/boop

      Was I napping again?
I feel like I missed another memo:
      * What (not ‘who’) (see what I did there? I crack my beep up) fabricated the idea anybop can call theirboops anything they want?

      1. “Nor is ‘Disney’ in any way associated with Walt Disney.”

I know a movie theater owner who considers Disney a den of thieves for the way they treat “little guys” like him. Disney is, for sure on my
        “manure list”.

        Carry on
