    Snark aside, this is a very stupid idea and also will not surprise anyone here. Links to the bills in question are in the article.

    1. Also so the side that wants to defund the police due to “excessive force”. And yes, I fully understand that those incidents exist…Floyd and Weaver being too of the most egregious examples…but it takes a special sort of cognitive dissonance to accuse law enforcement of systematic abuse and then call for a ban on body armor.
