Psalm 128 (TV – Toby version)
A Song of a journey to a higher place.
1 Happy is the man who fears the LORD,
Who walks in His trodden road, His path.
2 When you eat the labor of your hands,
You shall be happy and blessed, and you shall function in your intended purpose.
3 Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine
By the border of your house,
Your children like olive plants
All around your table.
4 Behold, thus shall the valiant man, the warrior be blessed
Who fears the LORD.
5 The LORD salute and congratulate you out of Zion,
And may you behold the beauty, gladness, and joy of Jerusalem
All the days of your life.
6 Yes, you shall see your children’s children and peace upon Israel!
We had this Psalm (among many other passages) read at our wedding. 🙂
