  1. “There are only two kinds of people in the end: those who say to God, “Thy will be done,” and those to whom God says, in the end, “Thy will be done.” All that are in Hell, choose it. … Without that self-choice there could be no Hell. No soul that seriously and constantly desires joy will ever miss it. Those who seek find. Those who knock it is opened.”

― C.S. Lewis, The Great Divorce [GoodReads site for quote]

“All that are in Hell, choose it” with their choices in life.

  2. On a related note:
    * my four grandparents were from Belfast in The Republic Of Northern Ireland… as was Mister Lewis.
The Staples side of the family mentioned our relationship to Mister Lewis.
From their stories, I got the impression Belfast in the 1880s was an extended village.

    On an unrelated note:
    * manipulating elections through vote fraud?
After that system is up-n-working, TheMalignantOverlords have no further use for the ‘useful idiots’.
The rioters, the vocal agitators, the sign-wavers… all expendable (and quickly!).

On a related note, I am pretty sure electronic voting eliminates the need for TheMalignantOverlords to buy ‘elected OfficialsAndAuthorities’… aka ‘those other useful idiots’.

[The term ‘ Malignant Overlords’ comes from SeaGypsyPhilosopher Ray Jason.]

  3. LargeMarge, it seems like all those agitators and yapping media-faces are positioning themselves and currying the favor of a NWO in which their current mouth-breathing will be an asset. They are all convinced that THEY will be the exception and preserve their positions in the hierarchy, when the truth is that none of them will last either. No one really trusts suck-ups, elites least of all.

  4. Recent Interview of Bob Griswald. Scriptural and instructive, it is perhaps, IHMO, his most important interview. I do differ, however, on some aspects about radio as I would not restrict myself to constraining government laws during a time of war, and thus risk a serious handicap, but this interview has little to do with technical stuff. This is about Christian’s facing the prospects of war.

    1. More thoughts on Radio.

Historically, during times of war, Amateur Radio licenses are often revoked. However, an Amateur license, if used regularly, will improve one’s skills. However, like drying firing a weapon, skills and knowledge can be advanced without actually keying up. Currently, however, I am conducting an radio exercise that involves someone who shows an interest and has an aptitude for radio. This involves an 8 watt Baofeng radio through a 10dbi directional antenna pointed at the crest of a hill top. The ERP is about 40 watts. It is expected that the signal will be strong enough and deflect an adequate amount of signal about 5 to 10% downward, and hit his antenna on the other side. The target station is located about 22 miles away in an adjoining valley.

Having the finest radio equipment can be compared to having the finest rifles. Training with less capable gear in challenging circumstance is like training in the rain at night with only the crudest of equipment. Without sufficient practice under adverse, or difficult conditions, the finest equipment, be it a rifle or radio, is not of much use if the operator is not well practiced. Stuff ain’t enough….ya gotta get out there…. I am so relieved to find anyone who is willing to actually get out there and stretch their legs that I will provide them with equipment if necessary. Few licensed Amateur radio operators actual use their stuff and know any more than they have to. Talking around the world can actually be easier that bouncing signals around obstacles, deflecting it over hills, or over a valley to point on the other side.
