    1. Oh Krissy, you are so sweet to think of me! Your prayers are greatly appreciated right now as I am having a difficult time recovering from my surgery. I was in surgery for close to seven hours (I was shocked to read that in my Post OP report)! I’m thankful for my husband and also my sister for stepping up to help care for my mom and dad while I recover.
I think that I was expecting to just get back to my manic, super busy schedule maybe a week after this surgery, but I have to be patient and let my body heal! Really hard for me to do as I’m used to going warp speed every day!!

I had to laugh at your experience with the washer/dryer set for your mom as I ordered a new BASIC refrigerator way back in March and it is still not here!! Sears keeps putting it out farther and farther away, now it’s looking like early December. I guess if my current one finally klunks out I can just store everything out on the porch since it’s cold enough! LOL!!

Anyway, I’m so very thankful for you praying and thinking of me, it means so much to me

Hope you have a Rockin great day!!

      1. Hey RKRGRL68, here’s hoping you make some quicker progress and get back to warp speed soon. 🙂

Sounds like the refrigerator and freezer situation is getting ridiculous. A while back, honest injun’ cross my heart and hope to die, I saw a chest freezer at an estate auction go for $1,000 that only cost $850 new. I guess the $150 was a small price to pay for having it right now. I think things are going to get even crazier than they are now.

      2. It is SO hard to rest, definitely. When I was on bed rest with my second bio child, my midwife kept reminding me over and over that one more day in the womb was three fewer days in the NICU. Perhaps there is some surgical recovery equivalent? One more week in the bed equals three more weeks of fully functional warp speed….later? 🙂 Hang in there, take good care of yourself, and we’ll keep praying.

      3. we just went through a similar experience with our refer it took 7 weeks to get it nothing like your since march but we did have to live out of a cooler
the whole time…spent about 240$ on ice for it…..

      4. Hey RKRGRL68, I missed your post yesterday. Sorry your recovery is difficult, I truly do understand. Take the time now to properly recover. It was several months before life started to return to normal. My surgeon told me it would likely take at least a year possibly two years for the vertebrae and spinal cord to completely heal. I was back to mostly normal life by six months except for heavy lifting or shooting. Praying for your recovery and patience.
Gods grace and peace to you.
