when i lived in kansas as a little boy the bonnie and clyde car came through town it looked like sieve to me….1974ish
And why are you celebrating a couple of thugs?
They are no one and never were.
No, I’m celebrating their death. They got what they deserved: Instantaneous lead poisoning.
I knew a lady (now deceased) who told me that she and her husband were in their early twenties, living in Quitaque, Texas, when they were out for a drive and spotted a couple walking along the side of the road. Being friendly Texans, they pulled over to offer the pedestrians a ride. A bit later when they dropped this couple off at their requested location, the “guests” then revealed they were Bonnie and Clyde. She laughed as she told me the story, saying how surprised she was, and that she figured Bonnie and Clyde had already sized them up and decided not to bother with them for whatever reason.
I’ve got an original Grendel P-30. It’s pre Kel-Tec. Fun little shooter and it breathes fire!
There’s several of those on Gunbroker. One NIB.
LEO’s of the day learned rounds from a 45 Thompson wouldn’t go through doors of a car then.
The folks who got B and C didn’t mess around. They got BARs from the hardware store, which proved sufficient.
Vehicles were made out of Real metal back then and up into the late 70s. Not so now.
