    1. And in Israel at Machtesh Ramon(the “grand canyon” of Israel) they have a small museum dedicated to Ilan Ramon with a movie on the shuttle disaster and him. Israel was so proud of him and his loss(and that of the rest of the crew) was tragic.

  2. “Space. The final frontier.”

    Seriously corny but I have always thought it was true. People have always needed frontiers and the frontiers have always been dangerous. I think the people who have died advancing those frontiers are real heroes.
