Thank you for remembering the birthday of this talented man. He was the composer of some of the most beautiful music ever written. If I had to choose between the German operas of Wagner and the Italian operas of Verdi, Verdi would win, hands down, for me (although Wagner’s operas are great as well, of course).
I’m with you on that, Ma G. Verdi gives us such great beauty.
