“A dying culture invariably exhibits personal rudeness. Bad manners. Lack of consideration for others in minor matters. A loss of politeness, of gentle manners, is more significant than is a riot.” – Robert A. Heinlein
The Editors’ Quote of the Day:
- Ad Suburban Defense: non-fiction by author Don ShiftA cop's how-to guide to protecting your home and neighborhood during riots, civil war, or SHTF.
- Ad Barter and Sell at Simcour Trading PostA new site for individuals to barter and sell items of interest to other like-minded individuals
Robert A. Heinlein’s quote explains exactly where the U.S. is today. How will our ‘Failure of Civility’ end? Read the book by that name (authors Mike Garand and Jack Lawson). That is, if you can find it.
Heinlein also said an armed society is a polite society.
I’ll leave completing the syllogism as an exercise for the reader.
The problem is the poisoners murdering society use the very civility against the pollite society, hence the SPLC, “words are violence”, and the accusations of racism, anti-Semitism, etc. The poisoners aren’t civil but want you to be the same way they wish to disarm you in other ways.
Anita Hill and Blasey-Ford were very “polite”.
Vox Day in “SJWs always lie” note that the absolute wrong thing to do TODAY since it will be an SJW mob accusing you is to apologize and be civil. They want to destroy you and will use any measure of civility against you.

Heinlein also said an armed society is a polite society.
Any scientific proof for that?
I started reading Heinlein in 7th grade. The “armed society” quote is one of my favorites. Another is “Always leave your clothes and weapons where you can find them in the dark.”
