It wasn’t social media that did in the Yellowstone poachers, it was sheer stupidity. Their greed and absolute egocentric mindset led them to their criminal actions in the first place.
I saw part 2 of their adventure on day it was posted. I’ve recently been bit by the bug to fly and have been looking at everything including the DC-3! The world record for short landing is now at 9.5 feet. That is almost good enough to land on a heliport. But I might look at a Carbon Cub too, and master the controlled stall. So many choices, so little money. Of course, if one *must* drop in somewhere, a parachute would work too.
