Images in their windows are not fill size. When the cursor is over them they shift in the window and turn blue. This means I have rarely seen an entire image. For instance, the submarine image only has about the bottom 2/3s in the frame. When the cursor is on the image it shifts to show the top 2/3s and turns blue. Clicking on the photo brings up the article without the full image. I’d love to see full images without the shifting/color change thing. It’s kind of driving me crazy.
Go see the sub for yourself,it is a technological marvel for it’s time. The enigma machines were a commercially available device before the war and the codes were broken early in the war(same as the Japanese codes were decoded faster by the US before Pearl Harbor)
After WWII, Admiral Daniel V. Gallery – commander of the task force that captured U-505 – wrote a whole series of fiction books that are really pretty funny. If you can find one, give it a read. You won’t be disappointed.
So true about China, Capt. Rawles. So little change in the authoritarian regime.
And yet, Americans, including many of us, continue to buy their goods. Sigh.
Carry on
