Can someone suggest a reputable place to purchase physical silver coins w/safe delivery?
Try Texas Precious Metals.
Thanks! I was actually looking at them but was looking for fractional silver (1/10 oz) and they just have oz’s.
Gainesville coins near Tampa,fl
I have used Moneymetals.com in the past, as well as other people in my circle with no hiccups in the process.
APMEX
Ditto on APMEX.
Money Metals Exchange has very low premiums (wait for sales–sign up for alerts), great service, and fast shipping (free over $1,000.)
JM Bullion has always done right by me…
JM Bullion works for me. Keep an eye out as they quite often offer 0.49 over spot per ounce on any quantity in silver. Note the “any quantity”. Deals are posted Monday mornings and run for the week while supplies last.
The best I have seen on Apmex is 0.69 over spot per ounce and that’s not usually on any quantity – usually have to buy a lot. Plus Apmex has had customer service issues with me so they don’t get my business any more. They probably don’t even care – lol.
Privident Metals. Good prices. Free shipping over $99. Have used them for over 10 years.
Go to a local coin club auction. There is usually bulk silver for sale at spot or a little over the market price. Go to NGCCOIN.COM for the latest melt price for common pre-1965 silver coins.
I’ve used APMEX, Silver.com and JM Bullion. I look to see who has the best deals at the time based on the spot price and premium. Usually Canadian coins optimize this, but occasionally they will have weird coin specials from Britain or Australia. They will often have free shipping as well. I haven’t bought 1/10’s, but have bought half ounces
