Another point that has been made from time to time is to move Tax Payment Day from mid-April to sometime in October, just before Election Day. THAT will make people aware of politicians’ promises made and broken (lies) just before they go to the polls to cast their ballots.
Those that yell loudest for “services” don’t pay taxes in the first place
