  1. It is a major PIA for South Africans to immigrate to the U.S. Our sick and demented government makes moving here extremely difficult and expensive for them.

It would be better for them to become Mexicans or Syrians and then to come here at U.S. taxpayers expense.

  2. re; Who Needs Democracy

We are gradually moving in that direction already. This article at conservativereview.com asks the question, do elections really matter any more?

“Obama’s third term: 13 times courts said Trump must continue Obama’s lawless policies”
    (Daniel Horowitz · August 20, 2018)

He cites 13 examples where judges have ruled that Obama executive orders must stand… Trump has no power to reverse them.

    My 2 cents:
Essentially judges and lawyers are running the country, and congress likes it that way since it takes the burden of controversial issues off their backs… its far easier to spend your time glad handing and voting on whether to create National Poodle Day. Let judges and unelected bureaucrats in thousands of government agencies make the laws.

Combine that with the power and control of the Deep State, the data collection and monitoring capabilities of the Big Internet companies, the propaganda mills that Big Media have become, and the school system cranking out little socialists, and we have a real Orwellian mess on our hands.

My biggest fear has been the growing realization that preparing for something like an economic collapse or other disaster would be child’s play compared to what’s actually coming.

  3. As to your suggestion on giving displaced South African’s sanctuary I see no problem, easy peasy all they have to do is changer their names to Lopez, Gonzolas, Hernandez, Cruz etc and there should be no problem

    1. I understand what you intending to say but a word of caution; All of those names can be American as well. Some of you may want to rethink what Americans look like. Just because someone has a Latino last name doesn’t automatically mean they are not American.

Signed as a spouse of a 4th generation American with Mexican heritage, the last 3 generations who served in the military, some for over 2 decades.

  4. Re free tuition: used to be on the medical supply field, there were many LBD’s whom would take advantage of the Governments offer to work for a specified period, in a rural area, in lieu of payment for their training, A common practice was to set up a clinic for 3 months, then disappear, leaving behind bare floors, and unpaid employees!
