Re. storage cabinets: I’ve had very good luck searching Craigslist for ‘heavy metal desks’ and ‘fireproof filing cabinets’. Have picked up two US gov metal desks (the heavy grey kind) and several fireproof filing cabinets. The filing cabinets have working locks w/key and my Z-Corr vacuum-packed items fit just fine in the locking drawers.
Re. King Abdullah: he also graduated from the Q-course. And rides a Harley. Both true.
if you are interested in building a workbench I assembled a playlist of YouTube workbench videos a couple of years ago when I was looking into building my own. I ended up just buying a folding Keter bench. here is the playlist of workbench videos. I think more people should make playlists and share them.

Abdullah was pretty impressive. The Jordanians I’ve worked with have been very pro-American, reasonably pro-Israeli, and all around good guys to work with.
We have had few successes in trying to gently wake folks up to the truth. Recently a friend exhibited rare healthy curiosity. We suggested she begin by watching ‘Snowden’. We think it woke her up!
Easy way to make Steel Cut Oats using Fireless Cooking:
18 oz vacuum food jar
1/2 cup, minus one tablespoon of Steel Cut Oats
1 & 3/4 cups of boiling water
1/2 cup of dried fruit
Before you go to sleep, add ingredients to the vacuum jar, shake, and lay on side.
It should be ready after you awaken, but may need some reheating.
This is the smallest size that seems to work, probably due to thermal mass.
