Abolitionist or agitator? The civil war was an avoidable disaster. Slavery would have ended without bloodshed as a result of innovation and economics. People like Beecher forced the violence and caused the death of 600,000. Why does this matter? Because we are headed for it again but not over slavery but over open borders.
