      1. Excellent suggestion.
I’ve used a local CPA for years and I’ve saved lots of green.
Those turbo tax and H&R blockheads may be cheap for their services, but you’ll pay a lot more in tax than you should.

  1. I’ve heard for many years about Wiki’s leftist leanings and editings. So when they come rattling the tin cup for donations, I ignore them.

  2. I just need a basic invoicing, AP/AR and inventory system. I have had the same CPA firm for 10 yrs now and they make tax life easy for me. Any suggestions?

  3. Why are People so Naive? History keeps Repeating.

“Our Founding Fathers understood history and human nature very well. They used history and reasoning to develop one of the world’s longest-standing written Constitutions.”

“Their counterparts on the other hand have risen and fallen many times, owing the failure to communism, socialism, and a naive belief that human nature can be changed.”

“History continues to reveal the same patterns, for a variety of reasons. Similar events, tendencies, and patterns keep happening despite the century or millennium. In this video, Reid analyzes why and gives his thoughts on the past and present.”

    1. That’s because our founding Fathers were Christian [almost all of them], and they knew that God illustrated in His word that man/woman are wicked to the core and need to check their actions daily against God’s word of instruction. The LEFT, believe that humans are good to the core, and are shocked when something wicked happens in this world. The LEFT has no safeguards for evil, because they in fact already duped by the most evil one [Beelzebub]!

This is why they should never be elected to Congress to create laws. All laws should be on the law books based on God’s word–and that’s just what the Founders believed.

  4. At best, (and this is for those not good at doing research) wikipedia is a place to start to look for further information which will lead you to other sources which provide better information. Wikipedia is basically a combination of misinformation and disinformation.

    1. Freetaxusa.com

It would be smart to go to a CPA firm, not a big company but a 3-10 person office, and have them do your taxes. Generally if your taxes are simple you are looking at $200 more or less. Why, you ask? Glad you asked. It is possible that you aren’t getting all the deductions and benefits that you qualify for and a good tax account can maybe save you $200, maybe not. You won’t know if you are missing out until you have a professional do your taxes. If after that you want to continue to do them yourself make sure the accountant explains what they did, if they did anything different from your own preparation so that you can take advantage of their knowledge next time you file.

Treat them nice and they will answer questions on the telephone during the year without charging you.

  5. “business practices of Ancestry.com and their DNA collection.”

In the first Blade Runner movie, when Rachael finally realizes she is a “replicant” (an artificially created biological human), implanted with fake memories, she tells Deckard, “I’m not in the business… I AM the business.”

  6. Re: Ancestry.com
This is just another attempt to profit from the vanity of Man.

“In 2013, geneticists Peter Ralph and Graham Coop showed that all Europeans are descended from exactly the same people. Basically, everyone alive in the ninth century who left descendants is the ancestor of every living European today, including Charlemagne, Drogo, Pippin and Hugh.”

“If you want to spend your cash on someone in a white coat telling you that you’re descended from Vikings or Saxons or Charlemagne or even Drogo of Metz, help yourself. I, or hundreds of geneticists around the world, will shrug and do it for free, and you don’t even need to spit in a tube.”

My wife has a family member who is consumed by the notion that character is determined by the random attachment to people who lived centuries ago. Every gathering, every event is reason to spew to anyone that will listen, the greatness of ancestors past. Meanwhile, this person ignores the current genetic descendants such as the daughter with four illegitimate children, the sister who is slowly drinking herself to death in a bath of vodka and wine, or their own troubles of being at least 60 pounds overweight with a myriad of health issues. Who wants to face the reality of the current generation of genetics, when comfort can be provided by a random DNA link to someone of questionable import hundreds of years ago.

  7. Cool 4×4 Bugout. I am kinda wonderin at Hugh, and the readers; : how you can put a wood stove in.

From my Military experience: A tank is a tank.

A wounded tank becomes a Pilliary Box.

A broken tank becomes a shelter.

I am interested in solutions in drivin that baby onto my land, and settling a home.

  8. log cabin
