I not only cancelled my CitiBank card but also my Sears account since they were associated with them, telling both why I did so. It gets frustrating feeling like you can’t do anything about the corruption or hypocrisy so every little victory of a pushback helps.
What’s your opinion on limited runs of Winchester rifles made in Japan. Granted they are replicas, but you can’t beat their fit and finish.
I bought a Win Mod 94 during the last year they were made. Winchester quality is so bad that I am convinced their quality control is non existent. The butt plate screw holes were over drilled and one over sized so much that the threads would not touch the wood. The screw was just placed in the hole. The cartridge inlet plate was so difficult to depress that I could not do so with my own thumb let alone a cartridge. When held in the hand at the grip i could watch and feel the weapon physically move out of alignment when moved side to side. Front sight was off center. It took me 6 weeks to apply the fixes and when I sold it at a great loss I explained to the fella what the problems were and how I repaired it. No quest about it- Winchester makes junk.
I am a Henry man now.

Everyone that is not using CITI should call there Banks/ Credit Card companies and tell them not to follow CITI. I called mine and Thanked them for not getting involved in politics and not jumping on the bandwagon.
A better way to impact Citi is use your credit card for a minimal purchase and then pay it off plus one dollar. They will send you a statement, probably for three months showing a credit balance, then mail you a check to clear your account. They will send you another statement showing a zero balance. The next month you start the process again.
The cost of the statements and the check far outweigh their earnings on a minimal purchase.
