  1. Bought one of the Ruger-branded CRKT knives for my Son on his birthday from a local shop ($60). It’s better than anything I carry, I’m sure it will be with him a long time.

  2. To Alan

Why not buy from the Taiwanese ? Are they bad? Nasty? Seems they are our allies from what I recall. My oldest daughter lived and worked there for a year and said they were pretty stand up people. Now the Russians maybe not…

  3. For quite some time I carried a folding pocket knife that belonged to my Dad, but between mislaying it or temperary losing it and finding it back, I finally put it away and picked up chinese made folding buck. If I lose it, no big deal. About couple of months ago or so, I ordered a belt knife from a local gentlemen, stainless, full tang, stag grips and a leather sheath. It will cost in the area $100 or more ( I guess I’ll find out when he calls to tell me that is done ). His knives are a work of art

  4. Love their knives. I own 4 different styles and have broken one by my own neglect, and CRKT replaced it without question. I don’t care where it’s made, I care that it performs when needed. And I support companies that stand behind their products and their customers. Well worth purchasing.

  5. I also have a CRKT M16 it it is heavy and well made, and will stand up to any job I need to do. It sharpens well and holds a good edge, this is a knife you can depend on. I love CRKT products. Thanks for the article. Trekker Out.
