Sea/Rescue Streamer comes in two sizes. THEY ARE A VERY GOOD THING TO HAVE! Did I make myself clear? Watch eBay for used ones as they don’t wear out. The newer one have a chemical glow stick to enhance their night time visability. I sold a couple of the smaller ones (life jacket size) but kept my larger one to keep with my life raft. These are designed to replace the old dye markers which pilots carried in case they ditched. The dye dispersed over a fairly short time. The streamer “paints” an orange ribbon pointing to you. It’s floating plastic sheet that you unroll. the smaller ones are 6″ by 25 “, the larger ones are 12” by 40′ if I recall correctly. If you are floating in a life jacket with the Coast Guard helicopter searching you will not think it was very expensive. they are also usable on land. Do a web search.
