  1. There has been no indigenous wolf population in the area for a very long time. The subspecies that used to be in the area was eradicated long before any of us were around. The wolves they brought in from somewhere else don’t belong. They are not necessary for the conservation of the natural environment in the area. In fact they are a detriment. It was a mistake bringing them here, it is destroying the habitat and the indigenous wildlife as well as domesticated animals, including pets.

They all need to be eliminated. The sooner the residents decide to correct this mistake, the quicker the region can start to recover. Wait too long, and it will be too late.

This is the same as people releasing hogs to become feral. Is there anyone who believes that was a good idea now? Like hogs, these wolves simply don’t belong. They do nothing for the environment, habitat, or conservation. They are a parasite.

    1. In fact, they are “Illegal Aliens”!!! Pure and simple. They never were here, didn’t evolve here, and should NOT be here. Rule triple S comes to mind. Has been very effective in many areas of The American Redoubt.

      1. Shoot shovel and shut up. We camped in our favorite spot last week. It’s one of the few areas that doesn’t have a bear problem. Why? Because the local ranchers have taught them 30-30 manners. It’s nice to be able to leave your ice chest out…
