  1. Sorry to leave this in an unrelated column, but the comments have, for some reason, been disabled for the Mathematics of Countering Tyranny article.

Oversight? Are we not welcome to respond to Mr. Rawles?

It was a brilliant thought experiment (Not Sedition. NOT SEDITION!) from a very talented writer of “how tos” wrapped in survivalist fiction (Not Sedition. NOT SEDITION!).

American’s sheep have been cleverly and thoroughly conditioned for generations to give up right after right to slow, methodical nibbling; but if anything will touch off our next Civil War, it will indeed be coming for our guns. (Just sayin’…Not Sedition. NOT SEDITION!)

  2. JWR; The Mathematics of Countering Tyranny:

    1) I do not know if it was an accident or on purpose, but there is no comment section on the above named essay.

    2) OUTSTANDING ARTICLE!

    3) There are alot of readers, to include myself, who have been banging this drum and telling the Socialist (democrats, left, progressives, ect, ect) that “will end up with severe unintended consequences, what alot of us would and do call our 2nd Civil War.”

    4) Now if we just get someone like yourself to teach math in our Public Schools cause the current ones ain’t cuttin’ it!

    Thanx. Semper Fi.

  3. So do what I done. Paste the article link in on pages you are frequenting. This is not ‘Close Hold’. Push the information out there. Give this fresh dose of hard data to public officials.

One item I didn’t see was a blurb on how many guns are currently estimated in criminal hands and the expected increase in that number, which can be projected by the number of thefts which are not investigated.
Our family LEO regularly remarks that the only rare times they recover a stolen weapon is when the possesor is passed out in, the drivers seat of a vehicle, which is then reported, and which they then have the time to actually get a warrant to search. Like he says, it is a rare event. Stolen weapons are rarely put back into safe hands.

Point being, we must have equal or better means of defending our families and friends.

  4. Have been a cutomer of MoneyMetals for a couple years, very good prices, service and they have opened up a depository(segregated) that you can even view your holdings over the internet(skype?)
