Today is the birthday of journalist and inventor Thomas Paine [1] (1737–1809.)

And speaking of Toms, today is also the birthday of actor Tom Selleck (born 1945), best known for playing the title role of Magnum, P.I. [2] He is an avid shooter and quite pro-gun.

SurvivalBlog Writing Contest

I picked up a copy of Thomas Paine’s Common Sense just last week. A fiery read on a cold day.

Carry on
