Preparedness Notes for Thursday — August 22, 2019

August 22nd, 1992 was the second day of the Incident at Ruby Ridge. FBI sharpshooter Lon Horiuchi wounded Randy Weaver and Kevin Harris, and murdered Weaver’s wife, Vicki. It should be noted that in 1994, after being acquitted by a federal court, Weaver filed a federal civil rights case against the FBI and U.S. marshals stemming from the siege. In 1995 the government settled Weaver’s case for $3.1 million. It is commonly thought that had the weaver family stayed with the trial, the award would have been the full $200 million. In true FBI style, Lon Horiuchi was not prosecuted by the Federal government. When Idaho brought manslaughter charges against him, the trial was moved to federal court and dismissed. Horiuchi has also been accused of firing unauthorized shots at the Waco siege.

  1. Re. Ruby Ridge
Who was the despicable federal attorney who defended and sought immunity for the FBI snipers including murdered Lon Horiuchi? None other than Trump’s Attorney General William Barr.

These Ruby Ridge Swamp Creatures have protected each other for 27 years. And you thought Trump was going to bring justice and ‘Drain the Swamp’. Get it yet?

  2. It’s necessary to remember history, and specifically moments in time in history such as Ruby Ridge, and what it can teach us. What this portion of history should be teaching is that this is the same type of deceitful lying people and agencies we will be pitted against when the coming unpleasantness occurs. It is coming, and much sooner than we can prepare for or anticipate. It will spring up seemingly overnight. B Ready….

  3. Unrefutable proof that the government WILL murder you given half the chance.

The government we labor under is a despicable evil.

    It can’t collapse soon enough.

  4. 1) My understanding is that the liberal Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals OVERTURNED the federal judge’s Supremacy decision and said that Idaho COULD put Horiuchi on trial.

However, a recently-elected new Boundary County prosecutor –Brett Benson — decided in 2001 to NOT put Horiuchi on trial.

    2) Note that Benson defeated county prosecutor Denise Woodbury in the local election. It was Woodbury who had successfully pushed the indictment of Horiuchi up to the federal Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

    3) Meanwhile, back at the Ranch circa 2002:

    “Former prosecutor accused of malpractice
    Associated Press Aug 1, 2002

BONNERS FERRY, Idaho — Former Boundary County prosecutor Brett Benson faces a suit by parents of a teen whose burned remains were found in 1998.

Harry and Pamela Hartman, parents of Ty Hartman, accuse Benson of malpractice and seek $400,000 in damages, stemming from his legal representation of one of the youths investigated in the death….

Benson lost his job as prosecutor last year after admitting to falsifying a document in a small-claims case that Keane brought against him to recover $3,500 she paid him in legal fees.

He pleaded guilty to impersonating a notary public, and received two years’ probation.”
