Ross Elder has issued this warning about the man behind Plateau Preppers, in Bobby Akart: From Con To Icon. According to Elder, this Mr. Akart (formerly known as Mr. Akard) is a disgraced and disbarred attorney as well as a convicted investment swindler.

Update (September 27, 2016): Along with nine other people, I’ve been named as a co-defendant in a defamation lawsuit filed by Akart against Ross Elder, for posting the preceding link and a summary sentence. Upon a closer look at Elder’s article, out of caution I have just changed the words “convicted land swindler” to read: “convicted investment swindler”. (The fake investments were more broad-ranging.) I just did my own search on public records of the variously Akart/Akard/Okard-named individual at whitepages.com, and it brought up some interesting results. I will post a summary, if this lawsuit ever goes to trial. – JWR

Obama On Clinton’s Emails: ‘There’s Classified, And Then There’s Classified’. JWR’s Comment: Wow! Talk about a classic politics-driven non sequitir statement. Perhaps BHO could get some coaching from Bill about about “What ‘Is’ is.” As a former Military Intelligence SSO I can attest that the fact is: Classified means classified until a document is formally declassified. Period. Full stop. Pay The Piper. Do Not Pass ‘Go’, Do Not Collect $200.

Knowing BHO, this conundrum might find its end with a preemptive (pre-trial) presidential pardon. That would be convenient, since BHO himself will probably need several pardons in return after he leaves office–presumably to be replaced by Her Majesty, Hitlery Clinton.
