Guest Article: Are Multiple "Failed Coups" Leading To The Engineered Fall Of America?, by Brandon Smith

There has been a lot of talk about “coups” the past two years, not just in the U.S. but around the globe. As I have noted in recent articles, failed coups in particular have been very popular as a way for certain governments to solidify power and assert dictatorial changes. In some cases, there has been no concrete evidence presented that the coup ever really existed.

In Turkey in 2016, Recep Erdogan claimed “success” in stopping a potential coup involving numerous government employees and military personnel which included active combat around major government sites such as the presidential palace and Turkish parliament. Erdogen argues that the coup was a part of the “Gulen Movement,” a political opposition movement surrounding Fethullah Gulen, a former ally of Erdogen who has resided in the U.S. since 1999 and had a falling out with the Turkish president in 2013 after criticisms of Erdogen’s corruption.

So far, evidence of actual “combat” with coup forces is thin to the point that it is questionable whether a coup ever really happened. Most reports cite fire from tanks and planes, as well as nearly 300 people killed. Video footage shows random firing, some explosions in civilian areas as well as Turkish citizens mobbing aimlessly around tanks. With tens of thousands of government employees imprisoned or dismissed after the event, the amount of kinetic conflict seems rather limited and tame.

Two years later, Turkey has yet to produce any hard proof of a coup, let alone proof that the “Gulen Movement” was involved. In July of this year, Erdogen submitted “evidence” which he says is grounds for extradition of Fethullah Gulen. This evidence appears to revolve around alleged visits made to Gulen’s FETO compound in Pennsylvania by accused members of the coup, but does not provide any clarification on evidence of the coup itself.

The chaotic event lasted mere hours and smells of a “wag the dog” scenario; a completely fabricated “Reichstag Fire” attack which could have been easily scripted by Erdogen himself as an excuse to assert totalitarian controls in Turkey and to remove pesky political critics and people within government and the military that held contrary views to Erdogen. Erdogen pointed a finger at the Gulen Movement before the smoke even cleared on the coup attempt, which suggests a predetermined scapegoat. Erdogen controls the Turkish media (including access to social media) and the judiciary, which means he also controls the narrative leaving the country in terms of facts and evidence.

The only things that the coup seems to have accomplished are cementing Erdogen as the center of political dominance for years to come, and causing considerable division between the U.S. and Turkey, threatening the breakup of NATO. Turkey is now moving toward bilateral agreements with Russia, which may have been the plan all along.

As I have noted in my articles on the false East/West paradigm, financial elites are getting ready to initiate what they call the “global economic reset,” and this reset will shift economic power (and thus geopolitical power) away from the U.S. and parts of the West into the hands of Eastern nations as well as institutions like the IMF and BIS. Turkey is a key component of geostrategic dominance for the U.S. and NATO. The nation’s realignment to the East will change the center of power for the globe.

A “failed coup” or what some analysts might call a “self-coup” also took place this year for another key U.S. ally — Saudi Arabia. Rumors of attempts on the life of Saudi Prince Mohammad Bin Salman as well as calls for a coup by exiled crown prince Khaled bin Farhan culminated in the arrest and detainment of numerous Saudi officials by MBS. No evidence of an actual coup against the Prince has been presented so far.

Salman proceeded in the wake of the crisis to consolidate his power as the successor to the king, as well as extorting billions of dollars from his captives in exchange for their freedom. He has retained the most vital positions in the Saudi government for himself, including the positions of Defense Minister, Interior Minister and head of the National Guard. His only obstacle now is to wait for the king to officially abdicate or die.

MBS is best known in the economic world for his “Vision For 2030,” which is designed to end Saudi reliance on oil revenues, but also appears to seek alternatives to the petrodollar in terms of trade as the nation strengthens ties to China and Russia. If Saudi Arabia breaks from the U.S. dollar as the primary means of oil trade, this will inevitably kill the dollar’s world reserve currency status. The Vision For 2030 also appears to align exactly with the “sustainable development goals” of the IMF’s 2030 Agenda.

Salman is supported in his 2030 endeavor through his Public Investment Fund (which in ironic globalist style is not actually a public fund). The fund is heavily financed by major globalist donors including The Carlyle Group, Goldman Sachs, as well as Blackstone and Blackrock. This support for a decoupled Saudi Arabia by international corporations suggests yet again that the globalist goal is to kill the dollar’s world reserve status, rather than protect it.

As the “failed coup” narrative continues to escalate, I have noticed a disturbing trend in America which matches certain elements of the coups in Turkey and Saudi Arabia. That is to say, it is possible that another “failed coup” is pending for the U.S, opening the path for Donald Trump to initiate martial law-like measures.

I warned of this possibility months before the election in my article ‘Clinton Versus Trump And The Co-Option Of The Liberty Movement‘, which partially explains the reasons why I predicted that Trump would win and ascend to the Oval Office.

At that time I was certain that the globalists would find great use for a Trump presidency, more so in fact than a Clinton presidency. However, I was not sure whether Trump was controlled opposition or simply a useful scapegoat for the economic crisis that globalists are clearly engineering. Now it appears that he is both.

Trump’s history was already suspicious. He was bailed out of his considerable debts surrounding his Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City in the early 1990s by Rothschild banking agent Wilber Ross, which saved him from embarrassment and possibly saved his entire fortune. This alone was not necessarily enough to deny Trump the benefit of the doubt in my view.

Many businessmen end up dealing with elitist controlled banks at some point in their careers. But when Trump entered office and proceeded to load his cabinet with ghouls from Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, the Council on Foreign Relations and give Wilber Ross the position of Commerce Secretary, it became obvious that Trump is in fact a puppet for the banks.

Some liberty movement activists ignore this reality and attempt to argue around the facts of Trump’s associations. “What about all the media opposition to Trump? Doesn’t this indicate he’s not controlled?” they say. I say, not really.

If one examines the history of fake coups, there is ALWAYS an element of orchestrated division, sometimes between the globalists and their own puppets. This is called 4th Generation warfare, in which almost all divisions are an illusion and the real target is the public psyche.

This is not to say that leftist opposition to Trump and conservatives is not real. It absolutely is. The left has gone off the ideological deep end into an abyss of rabid frothing insanity, but the overall picture is not as simple as “Left vs. Right.” Instead, we need to look at the situation more like a chess board, and above that chess board looms the globalists, attempting to control all the necessary pieces on BOTH sides. Every provocation by leftists is designed to elicit a predictable response from conservatives to the point that we become whatever the globalists want us to become.

Meaning the globalists are hoping that through the exploitation of useful idiots on the left they can infuriate conservatives to the point of abandoning their constitutional principles. For example, the use of social media censorship of conservative views is clearly designed to lure conservatives into turning to big government to force companies like Twitter, Facebook and YouTube into the role of “public utilities.” In other words, conservatives would be abandoning their principles on private property by nationalizing social media much like communists would do.

Of course, a simpler solution would be for conservatives to launch their OWN social media platforms and offer a better alternative. We should be reducing government influence in these sectors and ending protections for corporations, not increasing the influence of government even further. But this solution is never offered within the narrative, thus, the public discourse is completely controlled.

As this is taking place, conservatives are growing more sensitive to the notion of a leftist coup, from silencing of conservative voices to an impeachment of Trump based on fraudulent ideas of “Russian collusion.”

To be clear, the extreme left has no regard for individual liberties or constitutional law. They use the Constitution when it suits them, then try to tear it down when it doesn’t suit them. However, the far-left is also a paper tiger; it is not a true threat to conservative values because its membership marginal, it is weak, immature and irrational. Their only power resides in their influence within the mainstream media, but with the MSM fading in the face of the alternative media, their social influence is limited. It is perhaps enough to organize a “coup,” but it would inevitably be a failed coup.

Therefore it is not leftists that present the greatest threat to individual liberty, but the globalist influenced Trump administration. A failed coup on the part of the left could be used as a rationale for incremental and unconstitutional “safeguards.” And conservatives may be fooled into supporting these measures as the threat is overblown.

I have always said that the only people that can destroy conservative principles are conservatives. Conservatives diminish their own principles every time they abandon their conscience and become exactly like the monsters they hope to defeat. And make no mistake, the globalists are well aware of this strategy.

Carroll Quigley, a pro-globalist professor and the author of Tragedy and Hope, a book published decades ago which outlined the plan for a one world economic and political system, is quoted in his address ‘Dissent: Do We Need It‘:

“They say, “The Congress is corrupt.” I ask them, “What do you know about the Congress? Do you know your own Congressman’s name?” Usually they don’t. It’s almost a reflex with them, like seeing a fascist pig in a policeman. To them, all Congressmen are crooks. I tell them they must spend a lot of time learning the American political system and how it functions, and then work within the system. But most of them just won’t buy that. They insist the system is totally corrupt. I insist that the system, the establishment, whatever you call it, is so balanced by diverse forces that very slight pressures can produce perceptible results.

For example, I’ve talked about the lower middle class as the backbone of fascism in the future. I think this may happen. The party members of the Nazi Party in Germany were consistently lower middle class. I think that the right-wing movements in this country are pretty generally in this group.”

Is a “failed coup” being staged in order to influence conservatives to become the very “fascists” the left accuses us of being? The continuing narrative certainly suggests that this is the game plan.

  1. There is substance in this article. I, myself share the author’s thoughts on our current “government” condition. All wars are banker’s wars. The end game is control of the populace, depopulation/genocide. Divide the people with fake news, race, politics, false flags, etc. and their agendas , goals ie. one world govt. can be brought to fruition. I wish people would just wake up and see this for what it is. Stop fighting amongst ourselves. In the meantime, we must prepare for the worst.

  2. A good and informative article, lots of material to get your thought juices flowing. Divide and conquer does work and we seem to be a very divided nation at this time . One world government will happen according to the Holy Bible , we just don’t know when . I believe that there is plenty of evidence that there are sinister forces at work about us on a global scale.
There is a lot of “bread & circus” stuff going on to distract the populace, this is a time to be extremely alert to the world around us .

  3. People love to complicate the obvious, and it doesnt need to be that way.

Globalists and Liberals are cut from the same bolt of cloth. Conservatives know this. Fence sitters do not.

The internet has been around for a lot longer than the masters of the universe. Why arent people building parallels to FB, Youtube, Google and Twitter?.. If there arent laws regulating them, where is the competition?

  4. I’ve read Brandon Smith for years and appreciate what he and so many others have done to bring to light the nefarious acts and intentions of those who wish to control and enslave an otherwise uninformed public. So I ask again, what are we going to do about it? We knowwww what their tactics are, we knowww what their intentions are, we knowwww who the players are. What is the solution? What are we doing to change any of it? To shout out the obvious repeatedly, to say “Ah Hah!” to the tyranny and evil that clearly exists without ever confronting it is futile.

Imagine going to the doctor and discovering you have cancer. Then during the next 10 visits, the doctor does nothing but say, “You have cancer” in an ever increasing tone. Okay, so we know you have cancer. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?

Provide me with a plan and tell me what I can do to help. Until then it is all just preaching to the choir. Like most of you, I think we know what the solution is but no one wants to say it aloud. Until then, we are just patting ourselves on the back for being smart enough to see through the bovine fecal matter.

  5. Every time I think on what is happening now, I can’t help but think that this all goes back to Hegelian philosophy and Georg Hegel’s follower Karl Marx. Hegel was a proponent of the political theory of dividing a population up into various groups (the class structure and now the various “communities” LGBT, etc.). We are seeing this played out today, the media has us divided politically, the college’s have us divided along gender, racial, income, religious, and other lines.

The objective is to keep us distracted and at odds with these other groups while things are done out of sight and behind the scenes. The ultimate goal is a One World order

  6. The Coup happened years ago. You serve at the whim of your master under Admiralty law appearing as British style common law. There is no real property anymore and you don’t own the output of your labor. You’ve been made a slave. It’s all been announced. The corporations, of which government is one, are implementing it now while we discuss how to rearranged the deck chairs on a sinking state. Nobody is going to fight back with any manner of effectivity.

What must happen first if we’re to win, you ask? Repent.

  7. Re: Failed Coups, Brandon Smith writes:
“I have always said that the only people that can destroy conservative principles are conservatives.” and

“Therefore it is not leftists that present the greatest threat to individual liberty, but the globalist influenced Trump administration. A failed coup on the part of the left could be used as a rationale for incremental and unconstitutional “safeguards.” And conservatives may be fooled into supporting these measures as the threat is overblown.”

I don’t think author Brandon Smith has supported the claim that Trump is knowingly or unknowingly working for Globalist.

Sure using both sides against one another to obtain a different goal is an old tactic and surely it will be tried if it is not already being used. It is also true that conservatives might do harm to themselves. Setting aside principles because of fear or as a knee jerk reaction to some current event is always a danger to the future. Americans have at times “gone wobbly at the knees” and given in. The Sedition Act and the Patriot Act are both examples, as well as a lot of little usurpations we have allowed through the years. The preventative is for Americans to have a deep and clear understanding of the political philosophy that created the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution with the Bill of Rights. Every American should learn it, live it, love it, and also TEACH IT! If most people understood the philosophy they would know it is not changed by modern technology. They would know that we should not cede control over speech to federal bureaucrats. If we allow them to decide what can’t (and therefore what can) be censored at liberal sites then they will also do it at conservative sites.

The Progressive/Socialist/Communists argue that the 2nd amendment was only intended to apply to muskets, not machine guns; that we have a right to be secure in our papers and personal effects (documents & communications) when they are written with a quill pen, but not when written on the internet. These arguments are as ridiculous as the idea that there should be only one internet communication site and its content should be regulated by a government. Why not have many sites, each known for a distinct view; all unregulated and functioning much like newspapers functioned in the past when the United States was being founded?

While it is certainly out of context and probably not what the author intended, part of the quote from Carroll Quigley can be considered an encouraging call to action for Patriots. “They insist the system is totally corrupt. I insist that the system, the establishment, whatever you call it, is so balanced by diverse forces that very slight pressures can produce perceptible results.”

  8. You gotta be kidding!!! You are worried about Trump!! Have you seen what the Democrats and deep state are doing? Have you seen the dozen or two left wing/communist rent a mobs the Democrats are funding? Have you seen what Soros is doing in the states and nationally? And you think that TRUMP is the problem? Seriously!

Trump may well be our last chance before being turned into a 3rd world country and losing our culture and constitution. Geeez!

  9. We have to stop caring what they call us and stop letting them control us with words. They need to be brought down and defeated by any means necessary. The longer we wait the harder it will be and the more people will pay with their lives to stop it.

  10. hahahahaha…..

As long as the electricity is on, WE are ALL sheep.

Turn it off, and it’s game on—maybe that’s the “false flag” that we need.

But until then, WE are ALL just sheep.

Still, THEY are too intelligent, and will NEVER let the electricity falter.

After six decades, this is my first post on the internet–maybe it’s because I just drank two beers (and I never do that).

But let what I just wrote sink in for a second, and you know it’s true.

  11. Trump is not the first, nor will he be the last – chosen offering for the American voters. Obama did great damage to America’s Unity and Trump now carries his torch. Booker is likely to be next, not that any of it actually matters.

      1. Hillary is in jail?,or did he announce he wouldn’t prosecute her! Minions or all shapes, sizes and creeds were not dismissed but kept on,did not even demand a full accounting of the financials for any Department. What businessman doesn’t need to see the accounting of any organization they are trying to run? Sounds like a useful idiot.

        1. You are right except where is the support he needs to do this? There are still a couple hundred of his nominies that haven’t been confirmed. There is a AG in New York and a special prosecutor in DC whose only job is to “lawfare” him out of office. Where are the Republicans supporting him, getting his bills passed, building the wall, getting the confirmations pushed through congress. Trump is doing what he can but he needs real support and isn’t getting it. Abandon and disparage him at your peril because when the next Obama gets in they will pull out all the stops and then your “whining” will mean nothing. Either support Trump 100% as our last best hope (not as a “perfect” president) or suffer the consequences.

  12. Let me see if I understand the premise of the Agenda 2030 of the IMF with its 4th Generational Warefare.
A powerful group of people that have billions of dollars are purposely going to destroy the United States economy so they can rule the world, is that close?

So the billions they have will be worthless if society goes into chaos . Business and trade hate uncertainty. There is no money to be made.

And why would these elite and powerful men want to destroy the best engine of money creation ie the US and lose the power of their money and influence.

The globalist have it made; people buy with their own money smart phones that can be tracked and all kinds of money is made in its apps.
These people buy cars, boats, RV’s, vacations and banks make a mint in the interest charges.

What elite group is going to damage that gravy train?

  13. Thanks trump. Thank you for taking all the punches in the face by the False Media and their Cronies. Thanks for giving us a tax break. A stronger military. A space force and not colluding with Russia to ferry our astronaut. Giving us jobs. Building a wall to keep out illegals. Appointing God fearing Justices. Tearing up the Paris Accord. Tearing up the Iran nuclear deal. Tryingto remove Obamacare. The only thing you’re guilty of is MAGA.

    Thank you President Trump.

For the rest of us conservatives wake the H**l up. This is God holding the door of the Ark open for you and me to prepare for the committee storm of no food and water and employment.

When socialism is enacted it will be the government to dole out for everyone. Then like social media it will be only for the Leftist and the conservatives will be barred.

You’d better have your food and drinks and guns and ammo all squared away fast. Trump ain’t going to last more than six more years and maybe shorter.

  14. Communist Goals (1963) Congressional Record–Appendix, pp. A34-A35 January 10, 1963

Current Communist Goals EXTENSION OF REMARKS OF HON. A. S. HERLONG, JR. OF FLORIDA IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES Thursday, January 10, 1963 .

Mr. HERLONG. Mr. Speaker, Mrs. Patricia Nordman of De Land, Fla., is an ardent and articulate opponent of communism, and until recently published the De Land Courier, which she dedicated to the purpose of alerting the public to the dangers of communism in America.

At Mrs. Nordman’s request, I include in the RECORD, under unanimous consent, the following “Current Communist Goals,” which she identifies as an excerpt from “The Naked Communist,” by Cleon Skousen:

[From “The Naked Communist,” by Cleon Skousen]

    1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.

    2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.

    3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength.

    4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.

    5. Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites.

    6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.

    7. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N.

    8. Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev’s promise in 1955 to settle the German question by free elections under supervision of the U.N.

    9. Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the United States has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress.

    10. Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the U.N.

    11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the U.N. as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo.)

    12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.

    13. Do away with all loyalty oaths.

    14. Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office.

    15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.

    16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

    17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

    18. Gain control of all student newspapers.

    19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.

    20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policy-making positions.

    21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.

    22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.”

    23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”

    24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.

    25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.

    26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”

    27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a “religious crutch.”

    28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”

    29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

    30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man.”

    31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the “big picture.” Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.

    32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture–education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.

    33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.

    34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.

    35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.

    36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.

    37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business.

    38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand [or treat].

    39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.

    40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.

    41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.

    42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use [“]united force[“] to solve economic, political or social problems.

    43. Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government.

    44. Internationalize the Panama Canal.

    45. Repeal the Connally reservation so the United States cannot prevent the World Court from seizing jurisdiction [over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction] over nations and individuals alike.

  15. I do find it curious that people jump to deride the author because he’s not blindly following Trump.

Part of being a real patriot (ALL IMO) is questioning everything. I don’t me just liberal dogma, I mean everything. Why should one party get pass, while the other is rolled over the coals? We should have enough hot coals that everything gets rolled over it.

The author brought up a great point about the Trump Administration. Its filled with two groups of people, Wall Street big wigs, and generals. Lots of both.

How does one really go about draining a swamp when all your economic positions are filled with bankers and stock traders? He’s wed himself to wall street (and the question of whether he already was wed to them is legitimate), and surrounded himself with military types.

What does this combination mean? Is there more there than meets the eye? Personally, I see him positioning the US for the 4th turning. No, I’m not well educated on the book or concept, but I get the gist of it. Anyone with eyes should see that most major powers are positioning themselves for a global war. China’s massive military build up. The resurgence of Russia. Russian Iranian and Turkish militaries–sp getting combat experience in Syria. Turkey effectively seizing control of a portion of Syria and no one bats an eye.

Europe and the EU appears busy slapping each other with rubber di|dos, and will get rolled by the rebuilt Russian military like it was 1940 France. China knows its ecosystem is destroyed. They need land to survive as “a race.” The only land masses that can support the move of China to a new home are: Canada, USA, Russia, Australia, and most of Africa. Australia has too much unusable land, and you will face the US military (but only what we can get all the way across the world), Canada means you have to face the entirety of the US military, USA means you face the US military (no one will come to our aid…thanks NATO and ANZUS), as well as 340 million civilians, many of them well armed. That leaves Africa, where China has been building empty cities for years (look Chinese cities in Africa up some time).

China knows that their dreams of saving the “Chinese race” from extinction can only happen if they confront and defeat the US military first. Anywhere they go, we will oppose their aggression directly. Its all about who starts it.

Trump (through Bannon) knows all this. This is what I see as the 4th turning. For the US to survive, we have to be ready, and likely initiate the next turning. Realistically that means nuking much of China, because even if our fighting men are superior to their Chinese counterparts, they have 1.4 billion they can mobilize for war, we have 340 million total people, and more than half would never lace up a pair of boots to support or defend anything, including themselves. The US would need to level the playing field in a way that eliminates the China problem, crushing their desire and will to wage war with the US. Yes, that would likely mean leaving NATO, the UN, the world bank, etc. But for the US to survive the 4th turning in some fashion, China would need to be neutralized on day 1.

If we go after China, Russia moves west and south, bringing former satellite states back under the umbrella. There will likely be massive ethnic cleansing as they Russify the states to the south. Russia will roll through Ukraine, and likely have troops in Paris within a month. The EU has gutted its military, banned firearms ownership, and is more concerned with fashion week than protecting itself. If the EU assembled all its military power on one front, they could slow down the Russian forces, but once the US obliterated China with nukes, the door is open for nuke strikes of some fashion. The former Yugoslavia will tear itself apart again, Turkey will invade Syria from the North, Iran will seize Iraq within a month, and drive through Syria toward Jerusalem. The Israelis will nuke Iran without hesitation before the first armored convoy gets within 10 miles of the Israeli border. Along the way, Pakistan and India will throw their nukes at each other, and set the subcontinent in a protracted and deadly war.

While I’m neither a psychic nor mystic, it doesn’t take a crystal ball to see that WW3 will be built upon Sino-US conflict. Until that happens everyone with aspirations outside their own borders are held in check. Essentially the world is held in check by US combat power.

China is winning the cyber war that has been waging for the past 10 years or so. They have penetrated most US computer systems. It is unclear if they have penetrated the power grid, but one must assume they have. If they initiate WW3, it will begin with destroying our grid, throwing the country into chaos while they attempt to invade. Its the most direct approach to their goal of saving their “race.” They need land, we have lots of it, and we are the masters of the universe. Attacking us first makes sense in that they will have to deal with us on day 1, or they will have to contend with us on day 2. Any intelligent leader knows that initiative is critical to success, and the fastest way to do that is with all those freighters coming from China to the US. Instead of filling them with rubber dog doo and iPhones like usual, they load up all their military equipment and initiate either a cyber strike on the grid, or go EMP, unload in Long Beach, and start clearing out the hippie riff-raff in California, Oregon, and Washington.

Just a few thoughts on subject. Hope they didn’t distract from the author’s theory too much.
