The Editors’ Quote of the Day:

“[H]is heart is ever lifted up to God at all times and in all places. In this he is never hindered, much less interrupted, by any person or thing. In retirement or company, in leisure, business, or conversation, his heart is ever with the Lord. Whether he lie down or rise up, God is in all his thoughts; he walks with God continually, having the loving eye of his mind still fixed upon Him, and everywhere “seeing him that is invisible.” – John Wesley

  1. I try to do the same and, alas, am the same.

But God is ever faithful. When I pick myself up from failure, set my eyes on Him anew, He is filled with joy.

    As am I.

  2. Just beautiful. Much to meditate on here. Doing this ties in with what Paul writes about in Romans 12:1 and 2. “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
Two of my very favorite verses which have become very personal to me.
