- The slam-down of precious metals prices on Day 3 & 4 of the Iran War defied logic. Spot silver was down 7.92% by Tuesday afternoon. This was just after the Strait of Hormuz was closed. Logically, at such a time, most would expect precious metals to spike, as a safe haven. But clearly, some very powerful interests are still playing their market-manipulating games. Silver recovered to $83 and gold to $5,125 on Thursday morning, but they are obviously still being suppressed. – JWR
