(Continued from Part 1. This concludes the article.)
Please forgive me for quoting Solzhenitsyn extensively. But I have not found more clarity anywhere, which really means I haven’t done enough research to seek out other dissidents in history. This man did nothing more, as a Russian soldier, than correspond with a friend who happened to be a soldier for “the other side”. That was it. That was his great sin that landed him in a prison camp! His private correspondence (think e-mail, text, Internet posts) was nothing more than criticism of how “the state” was handling things – and the letters were intercepted (think Patriot Act and our NSA/CIA/FBI). He merely spoke his mind. He was not a murderer or a traitor.
Note: It’s on my reading list to read through the more recent book Live Not by Lies written by Rod Dreher. I’m writing this article of the same title before reading his book, but apparently, he interviewed Americans who grew up under Communism, retelling what they are seeing in America, and also quotes Solzhenitsyn. We should all probably read this book – I’m reading it now.
GOING ALONG TO GET ALONG?
My biggest point is: going along to get along is not going to work for you if the globalists have their way. We must stand now, not creep in the shadows avoiding conflict, standing for nothing but our own self-preservation. I very much admire self-preservation, but not by acquiescing to lies. If it’s a lie, call it out, on every front! I’ve written here before, advocating for “Going Galt”, “Irish Democracy”, general wholesale noncompliance with unConstitutional laws, and throwing as much sand in the gears of the State as we possibly can. But, I wanted to ensure that we all reflect upon what it means if we don’t do anything but lay low. We will eventually be stripped of every freedom we now enjoy.
Think it through. If we simply, “head for the hills”, which I am very inclined to do, and let the cities burn, the countrysides will burn too, and eventually the very hills we hide in will be firebombed. Count on it. Note that the current Resident of the White House let us all know that if we attempt an insurrection, our Constitutional right to throw off a despotic government, that we’d be up against F15’s and nukes… yes, he said that. So take note.
You know how the Communists treated the peasants in the countryside? All that the “peasants” produced was deemed owned by the state. They were able to keep precious little of what they grew. Children took to hiding in the fields and scooping up produce, that had fallen on the ground from the harvests, into their pockets, hiding it in their clothes. The people weren’t even able to keep 10% of what they grew. They were basically starved out or starved into compliance. The soldiers were there to enforce and any dissenters were sent straight to the prison camps where they were tortured and died, or they were just shot and left in a ditch for the other peasants to take note of.
In fact, don’t think that the Great Migration of people from the cities to the countryside is altogether organic. Don’t think we aren’t being herded and sorted like cattle to the slaughterhouses. Did you know that Chinese (CCP) backed companies have purchased huge swaths of land in Idaho, Texas, Tennessee, among other states? Research it! I don’t even understand how foreign possession of American land is even legal!! And they aren’t the only ones, count Bill Gates (the guy who started a software company and somehow became an expert on everything including why we shouldn’t eat beef) in there too, and many American companies that are purchasing up available land (look up what BlackRock is doing) with the goal of making the homes rentals, not for sale purchases. The World Economic Forum wants you to envision life differently. “You’ll own nothing and you’ll be happy” [1]. Read it for yourself. The globalists want a distinctly different life for us.
STANDING FIRM, NOW
This is why we must stand firm now. After all, the Bible tells us to remain steadfast and stand firm when the day of evil comes. We, in America, feel so sure of ourselves because we collectively own a *reported* 440 Million firearms, more guns than people, and more ammunition than will ever be recorded. The year 2020 was a record year for *legal* firearms sales, and the first half of 2021 is indicative that this year is shaping up to be a record year, as well. What does that tell you? It tells me that Americans feel it in their bones that something bad, very bad, is coming.
Not to be all doom and gloom, more Americans are in tune with what is happening around them. Many state legislatures are taking it upon themselves to nullify federal law in relationship to the 1st and 2nd Amendments. The problem is that our federal government is corrupt and is filled to the brim with people who have Marxist ideologies – godless communists, so to speak. Our borders are porous and we have an illegal immigration problem on our hands, the likes of which we’ve never seen, actively being facilitated by the federal government. Actively. As in, the Feds are taking planeloads of “children” (young males by any other standard are not children), and dropping them off in cities across the country. We aren’t just worried about censorship anymore. We’re worried about our physical safety and future security. We’re worried about saving the Republic.
I can tell you this: If the majority of Americans do not stand now and fight the tyranny and evil, then we will lose the Republic. It’s not a matter of “if”, anymore. It’s a matter of when. Unless we all stand up now and fight like heck, consider the Republic already lost.
In the meantime, I think there are a number of things we can do and I’ll list them in what are my priority order, and may not be your priority order:
1. Pray and recognize the true threat: Evil all around us. Arm yourself according to Ephesians 6: 12-18
“For our struggle is not against human opponents, but against rulers, authorities, powers in the darkness around us, and evil spiritual forces in the heavenly realm.
Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.
Stand firm therefore, having belted your waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having strapped on your feet the preparation of the gospel of peace; in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
With every prayer and request, pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be alert with all perseverance and every request for all the saints…”
2. Train with your firearms. Train. Train. And train some more. Never let them disarm you.
There’s a reason for the old phrase “Praise God, and pass the Ammunition.
3. Be well supplied. SurvivalBlog is devoted to this topic, search it, read it, do it.
4. Become self-sufficient. These aren’t just words. I get it – disability, unemployment, etc., factor in heavily. But, if at all possible, find a way to not be reliant on anything from the government. What the government gives, the government can take away. The State will use your dependency against you. Count on it.
5. Protect what is yours and stand firm. (“… and having done everything… stand firm”).
PRIORITIES
The five priorities above are each enormous. If someone reading this doesn’t even know how to “pray at all times in the Spirit”, this is how I do it. I keep a running conversation going with the Lord, in my mind, and often out loud, all day long. Talk to Him like you would a best friend. Lay it all out there and keep going. This opening of your Spirit to the Most High will change you like you’ve never experienced in life. Read (or listen) to the Word of God as much as you possibly can. Steep yourself in the Word of God, commit to only speaking truth, live a righteous life, believe in God, and know Who your Redeemer is.
Firearms training – I seriously lack in this area and my intention is to pay for private, in depth, training (I have a name and number!). My shooting skills are basic and woe to the intruder, but I need to be able to react more skillfully especially when I’m tired or am startled.
Supplies and Self-sufficiency – all in progress. I’ve learned what works and what doesn’t work these past 20 or so years. This year is all about improvement and focus.
I am fully committed to standing strong against the evil we are seeing around us. I only pray that I will not die on my knees in submission.
I realize I’m preaching to the choir here on SurvivalBlog. I felt pressed to correct myself and encourage others to not just hide from the evil. We need to fight back with everything we’ve got in every way we can. The Powers That Be have escalated their timeline as evidenced by the frenetic gaslighting we are being subjected to. They are coming for us and we can’t let them win, Lord willing.
Here, I’m going to add the 6th priority: Prepare for persecution. We can do all that we can and still, it may be that our Republic will fall. We can see that we deserve it for allowing the massive killing of the unborn, for allowing immorality to thrive, for allowing our children’s minds to be polluted. For so many reasons, our Republic deserves to fall. But, I believe in a merciful God Who has promised that if we humble ourselves and pray, He will heal our land. Pray and Prepare friends. Pray and Prepare.
