So many exceptional quotes from the GoodReads link for Going Postal. This below is especially timely and relevant!

“What a place! What a situation! What kind of man would put a known criminal in charge of a major branch of government? Apart from, say, the average voter.”
― Terry Pratchett, Going Postal

By the way… Does anyone know the context of this video leak? It’s a short clip, and leaves me wondering. The implication is that it illustrates signs of dementia, and I believe we’ve seen many concerning examples of this condition in the “installed” President who has been inflicted on all of us. Just wondering if there is more information about this particular clip.

I would add that voters may be waking up in greater numbers, and starting to use their political voices more effectively, and without backing down.

Although we don’t yet know that Georgia will get a true, transparent, and complete audit of the election fraud disaster, WSB reports that the Fulton County Elections Board fired Elections Director Richard Barron.

Arizona Libertarians are rising up against those who are denying access to ballots and ballot counting equipment for the purposes of audit.

[4]

CNS reports that the North Carolina Republican Central Committee voted unanimously to censure Senator Richard Burr.

[5]

Kentucky may have had enough of Senator Mitch McConnell.

…and we should not forget the powerful movement in California. Rescue California is working hard toward the recall of Governor Gavin Newsom.

Terry Pratchett, what a whimsical and insightful author. He could turn a phrase. I’m remembering The Wee Free Men as great distraction from big seriousness.

Always identified a bit with Sam Vimes, myself. “Hello, my name’s Sam, and I’m a suspicious b@$#@*d.”. FEET OF CLAY, if I recall correctly.

A terrible, heartbreaking loss… My husband and I remember Rush Limbaugh from the first couple days of his radio program. This is a great, great loss. Thank you, Rush, for everything you did for all of us. Thank you for your commitment to a great nation. Thank you for being a voice of reason and reassurance, and yes sometimes outrage too. We will meet again one day in Heaven, and will miss you every day between now and then.

Oh, I remember first listening to Rush in 1989. What a curiousity piece he was back then. We have come a long way. After many struggles, may he rest in peace.
