Preparedness Notes for Monday — January 25, 2021

Today is the birthday of celebrated Scottish poet Robert “Bobby” Burns. He was born on January 25, 1759.

An USB stick update: There has been a technical glitch, because we have so much bonus material and almost 40,000 posts and columns lined up for our waterproof 2005-2015 Special 15th Anniversary Archive USB stick. It looks like it might have to be a 32 GB stick!

We should have a pre-order announcement by about February 5th. Thanks for your patience.

Fellow blogger Commander Zero of the great Notes From The Bunker blog posted news that his namesake, Edén Pastora — the original Commander Zero, passed away in Managua, at age 83.

It is our pleasure today, to present another review by our Field Gear Editor, Pat Cascio.

  1. Now’s the day and now’s the hour.
Many a thing has grown so sour.
    Attitudes been made so dour,
while some will in their basement, cower.
But when you’ve met the end of rope,
Turn unto the Lord for hope.
See ye through, he certainly will
and all your days with gladness fill.

  2. “Frag Out! High Explosive Snowballs” – Good article and I enjoy Will Dabbs writing style. Article proves once again that the human animal is one of the most destructive species on earth. Which goes completely against why God created us in the first place. My unanswered question has always been, “just why did He create us”?

War is the end result of our unwillingness to live by His rules.
Violence for violences sake is senseless, it only determines who is left, not who is right. God has the right part all sown up.
But history proves that if we continue to disregard His Laws, all societies will always come to the solution, that violence is the only answer left…..

  3. “HAL, access the United States Constitution.”
    “I’m sorry Dave…I’m afraid I can’t do that.”

Makers of Sophia the robot plan mass rollout amid pandemic:

    From the article:
“Products from other big players in the industry are helping fight the pandemic as well. SoftBank Robotics’ Pepper robot was deployed to detect people who weren’t wearing masks. In China, robotics company CloudMinds helped set up a robot-run field hospital during the coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan.”

Anyone else get the creeps over this? I mean, it’s amazing technology and all, it just seems to have wayyyyy too much darkside potential. I guess humans are good at that.

    1. Getting ready to reset the global population to 500 million. They’ll start by getting rid of Christians. The joke is on them thogh, I intend to come back following my Lord to the battle of Armageddon.;)

  4. Should’ve added in my last comment, the interview with the robotics company’s founder is even more creepy:

“…and people NEED to be isolated from each other, because to be AROUND people is DANGEROUS these days, but these robots can keep people safe from danger while still providing that kind of human warmth, that human connection….”

Soooo many dystopian quotes, so little time. Insert your preferred one here.
