Egalitarianiasm definition: The doctrine that all people are equal and deserve equal rights and opportunities. Also, a belief in human equality especially with respect to social, political, and economic affairs.

Egalitarianiasm in its purest sense is admirable and the way that we should all live. Sadly, the use of the word has in recent years been corrupted by leftists to equate it with socialism with forced wealth redistribution. Egalitarianiasm does not mean wallet leveling, under color of law. Nor does it negate the concept of merit. I have the right to pay an employee more, because he works, harder, faster, more efficiently, and more intelligently.

To understand what he means, you need to read Hans Herman Hoppe. In addition, I would add Murray N. Rothbard, Lew Rockwell, Ludwig von Mises, and of course, Ron Paul.

Egalitarianism, as it has been [modernly re-]defined, is pure evil. Like in George Orwell’s Amimal Farm, some people are more equal than others. Socialism always and without fail, leads to an elitist political class dictating, as in dictatorship, who exactly is equal, and of course, who is the superior that defines what equality actually means. Clue, it’s always the elitist political class that is deemed superior, to you.
