SurvivalBlog’s News From The American Redoubt

This weekly column features news stories and event announcements from around the American Redoubt region. [1] (Idaho, Montana, eastern Oregon, eastern Washington, and Wyoming.) Much of the region is also more commonly known as The Inland Northwest. We also mention companies of interest to preppers and survivalists that are located in the American Redoubt region. Today, we focus on Wyoming.

@ ” why I shouldn’t move to Montana “, Hmm, I would like to visit Montana someday , but because of my age and my arthritis, I think I’ll be looking some place with longer warm seasons. I’ve been a want -a -be cowboy ever since I can remember, but marriage, kids, a job to support the family, family sickness ( wife passed from cancer a couple of yrs ago ), I never made it to Montana, ( close a couple of times ). Maybe some day.

I thought I saw on he news yesterday that Alaska was opened up. Maybe it was cancelled before he said reopened. Who really knows what reopened means anyway each state seems different

Idaho RE prices have GONE INSANE…I’d love to get some land up there but….lololol..

The writer about MT. sounded like the problem and not many want her there to spoil a nice place. Instead I am thinking North Dakota might be a good place. The oil crash should of cleared up a lot of problems(insane property prices, cost of living, oilfield trouble) but the employment picture may be grim.
