Prepper Lessons from Noah’s Ark, by C.H.

Before I begin this article, I should clarify that I believe that Noah’s flood is a historical fact, not an allegorical myth. It actually happened; a flood that covered the whole earth and destroyed all humanity and all animals on the earth, with the exception of one man, his family, and those animals with him. As I see it, if one can’t believe the Bible about the flood, one can’t believe it about the resurrection either. Noah is included in the ‘cloud of witnesses’ in Hebrews 11:7. These witnesses are to encourage us to ‘lay aside every encumberance and the sin which so easily entangles us, etc.’ (Hebrews 12:1). Hardly the place for a fictional character and story. And I also note that Christ Himself spoke of the flood as an actual historical event (Matthew 24:38-39). So if you share with me the belief that flood did indeed happen, then please read on.

I must also note that much of what we ‘know’ as a culture about Noah’s ark comes from children’s books and songs (“The Loooord, told Noah, to build him an arky-arky”). Noah is usually portrayed as an elderly man with white hair and beard (rather chubby) in a bathrobe, happily enjoying a sail with a bunch of happy animals on deck. The story of Noah always seems to find it’s way into children’s Bible books, while stories about Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 19) or the Levite’s concubine (Judges 19) are avoided for being too ‘dark’ for a children’s book. This puzzles me. Apart from the fall and the crucifixion, there has not been a darker day in human history than the day the flood began.

This was not a rainstorm, or even a hurricane. The ‘fountains of the great deep burst open, and the floodgates of the sky were opened’ (Genesis 7:11). Enough water was released to cover the tallest mountains on earth. Cataclysm. All of humanity was destroyed. Don’t make the mistake of thinking that just a few people were lost because the earth was so young and people hadn’t multiplied. There were nine generations between Adam and Noah. And if a typical married woman today, living say 75 years, would be pregnant 10-20 times (without birth control), how many children could a woman living 900 years bear? By my reckoning, hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of lives were lost. And Noah did NOT resemble a chubby Santa Claus. Given that he lived 900 years and was 600 years old when the flood came (we don’t what age he began building the ark), in appearance he would resemble a modern day 50 year old the day he entered the ark. And if he built, by hand, a ship the size of the ark, Noah was NOT chubby. Think: chiseled, scarred, and hard as nails.

As It Was in the Days of Noah

But why write an article about Noah’s flood? First, because Noah’s time is so like our own. Noah’s story really begins in Genesis 6:1 (though most sermons skip to verse 5): “Now it came about, when men began to multiply on the face of the land, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose . . . the Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them.” Demons having children with women. The presence of the demonic was visible on the earth. How does this relate to our day? Have you not wondered why there are so many mass murders lately, perpetrated by men with no real explicable motive? Demonic. Why the increasing pressure and influence of drug cartels no longer motivated solely by profit but by a desire for rape, murder, and enslavement? Demonic. Still not convinced? According to the CDC, more than 45,000,000 babies have been murdered in their own mother’s wombs from 1970-2015 in the USA alone. Demonic.

Note also Genesis 6:5: “then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” Watch the first episode of the Game of Thrones and imagine playing this show for a theater audience in, say, the 1930s. Imagine the audience’s response. Hysterical screaming, vomiting, and a rush from the theater (followed, no doubt, by a torch-bearing march on the studio). And yet the average American watches five hours of shows like these a day.

And then there is the epidemic of pornography. There is an article in Forbes titled ‘Pornhub 2017 Year in Review Insights Report Reveals Statistical Proof We Love Porn’ that you can Google if you want some insight into American’s use of porn. Fair warning: I couldn’t make it halfway through the article. Just take my word for it: it’s bad, and it’s everywhere. Surely, the thoughts of our hearts are increasingly only evil continually (Genesis 6:5) as they were in Noah’s time.

Finally, though ‘the earth was corrupt in the sight of God, and the earth was filled with violence’ (Genesis 6:11), Jesus notes that ‘in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away’ (Matthew 24: 38-39). The culture around Noah saw neither the corruption, nor the impending judgment. Neither does ours.

Noah: The Ultimate Prepper

Second, Noah was the ultimate prepper. Want to save your family from TEOTWAWKI? Noah saved his family from TEOTW (forget the AWKI). Want to provide for your people in tough times? Noah provided for his family and for all land animals on earth for over a year! Want to partner in rebuilding society when the storm passes? Noah did that too.

Let’s take a closer look at lessons from Noah’s story.

  1. Noah received direction from God. It wasn’t his plan, it was His plan. This lesson can’t be overstated. Take Jim’s advice and pray before you prepare. And don’t think that God’s message to Noah was a ‘bolt from the blue.’ It flowed from his intimacy with God: ‘Noah walked with God’ (Genesis 6:9). Dear reader, I implore you to walk with God and receive His plan for you.
  2. Noah lived a holy life. ‘Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his time’ (Genesis 6:9). Let us follow his example and ‘lay aside every encumberance and the sin which so easily entangles us’ (Hebrews 12:1). Search for sin in your life for sin and ask the Lord to set you free from it. Or, better yet, ask the Lord to ‘search [you] … and see if there be any hurtful way in [you]’ (Psalm 139: 23-24).
  3. Noah did what he was told. From his introduction in the text to the point where God’s rainbow appears in the sky, Noah doesn’t say a thing. But ‘thus Noah did; according to all that God had commanded him, so he did.’ Obedience is what God rewards.
  4. Noah had a heart of worship. What is the first thing he does once he gets out of the ark? He builds an altar before the Lord (Genesis 8:20). In response, the Lord promises to never again destroy the earth with a flood. He also promised to preserve ‘seed time and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night.’ All that, in response to one man’s worship. I believe that worship is overlooked in our lives and that it brings peace, joy, thankfulness, alignment with God, and a powerful response from the Lord.
  5. Noah gave up all his earthly existence to follow God. I’m sure that Noah took tools (as many as he could afford!), tents, extra clothes, etc. with him. I’m also sure that his godly life and long hours building the ark left him few (if any) friends. But he lost his farm, his extended family, his neighbors and community (including all the skills they had and he didn’t). Think on this for a moment. Imagine that tomorrow you wake up and all the world has been washed away. All of it. No house, no cars, no buildings, no power, no grocery store, no pharmacy, no hospital, no doctors, no dentists, no Costco, no Walmart, no restaurants, no hardware store, no Starbucks (!), no internet, no phone, no computers, no tablets. Gone. Far worse than an EMP. Just you, your family, and whatever you have in your suitcases. Noah lost his whole existence, with the exception of his nuclear family and his God. But he preserved his life and the lives of his family through a time of God’s judgment. Let me repeat that: all that Noah got was his life, his family’s lives, and the chance to start over. And believe me, God’s judgment is coming again. Do you hope to preserve your family? Then remember the words of Christ: “He who wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake, he is the one who will keep it’ (Luke 9:24). Do not cling to anything that God calls you to give up. Or it may cost you your life, and the lives of those you love. When He says ‘let go,’ let go.
Noah’s Accomplishments

What did Noah accomplish with this foundation? “Thus Noah did; according to all that God had commanded him, so he did” (Genesis 6:22). What, exactly, did Noah do? First, he had to design the ark. My best guess, based on Genesis 9:20, is that Noah was a farmer by profession, not a ship builder. He certainly had no experience building a ship of this size. And while the Lord gives Noah the basic dimensions, the number of decks required, the number of doors and windows, and the types of building materials to use, the rest of the design appears to have been up to Noah. He would have had to determine the latitudinal and longitudinal curvature of the ship and the exact curvature of each board in the hull. Each board would have to be carefully catalogued based on its exact position in the ship.

He had to pick (and procure?) a build site close enough to the forest of trees needed for the raw materials. Some system would have had to be designed to move the heavier materials. Can you imagine the size of the beams needed for the girders of a ship this big? Tools would need to be procured en masse. How many pens (and of what type) would be needed to hold every type of animal on earth (mammals, lizards, birds)? For that matter, how many types are there? How much food would be needed for humans and animals? And of what type? And the Lord didn’t tell him how long he would be in the ark. What should he take with him to restart society with only the skills he and his immediate family had? What would you take? What skills would Noah and his family have been scrambling to learn so that those skills would not be lost? Think on this for a moment.

Then it was time to gather raw materials. According to Genesis 6:15, the ark was 300 cubits long, 50 cubits wide, and 30 cubits high. Estimating a cubit at 18” (roughly the length of a man’s forearm and fist), that’s 450 feet long, 75 feet wide, and 45 feet high. I realize that the ark was probably not rectangular in shape, but for easy figures, that’s a surface area of 114,750 square feet. Adding in the first, second, and third decks (Genesis 6:16), that’s 216,000 square feet. That’s about 81,000 2x4s. With, at best, bronze really era hand tools, Noah had to cut down and mill 81,000 2x4s. Just for fun, try cutting down one tree and producing 1 good 2×4 using only an axe and a hand plane. Noah then had to manufacture or procure enough fasteners for those 81,000 2x4s. He also had to produce enough pitch to cover the surface of the hull (114,750 square feet) inside and out. How many buckets of roofing tar would it take to cover 2×114,750 = 229,500 square feet?

And then the work really began. Noah built the ark. We don’t know what sort of divine assistance Noah received, or how long the construction took, but the Lord did not build the ark for him. Noah did according all that the Lord had commanded him. Beasts of burden might have been used to move the bulk materials or to lower especially heavy materials into position, but for the most part, the ark was built by hand. 81,000 2x4s people. Fastened together. By hand. Followed by covering the surface with nasty, foul smelling, and very dangerous pitch.

How long did this take? And let’s not forget that Noah still needed to provide for the daily needs of his family during construction. And in a world filled with violence (Genesis 6:11), security would have been a constant concern. Imagine the physical and emotional exhaustion. Imagine the constant fight against discouragement and despair. Will this thing ever get built? Is there really a flood coming? “Doesn’t look like rain to me.” Why are we doing this Dad/Honey? And then there was the spiritual struggle. Do you think Satan wanted that ark built?

Does all of this seem exhausting? It was. But let us take heart. What the Lord calls for, He provides for. Noah did it. And we can do what He asks too.

I stated previously that the Lord’s judgment is coming. Why do I believe this? Because the Lord said so: “the Lord preserves all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy.” (Psalm 145:20). The Lord gave the founders of our nation the knowledge of His Son when much of the world was still in darkness. He gave them a virgin country with vast resources and endless opportunity. He gave us a democratically-elected republican form of government and a new birth of freedom and success over our enemies. And what did we do with it? We greedily devoured the resources, took the credit for our success and our victories, turned our back on God, and now seek hastily after every form of wickedness. President Obama was right: we are no longer a Christian nation. Tell me: what nation in the history of humanity has been so blessed, has been so presumptuous, and has so provoked God to wrath?

A new storm is coming, my brothers and sisters. Build quickly.

Maybe I am missing something here but it seems to me that this states then ignores the most obvious and important point. In the case of the Lord’s return there is no reason for any of us to “build” anything. All there is will be destroyed and He will usher in the new Jerusalem and His kingdom will reign over all. Nothing we build now will have any relevance nor stand in the days of Armageddon. We will either be with Him or not. Woe unto those who are not with Him.

it took Noah 120 years to build his ark, and he was laughed at, it had never rained on the earth previous to this, the earth. had been watered by the morning dew. God did break open the aquifer of the entire planet that had controlled the earth’s temperature perfectly. Noah took no dinosaurs on the ark because they been created by genetic modification of evil men. Good article, the earth is again being modified and controlled by evil.. The Good news is Jesus is returning very soon. Get ready

Noah and his family saved by the Ark is a Biblical Event, that resonates with all people; especially children. A plastic-toy, Noah’s Ark, with the family and menagerie of animals, can be an excellent educational-toy for children. = The Ark is almost as good as a Christmas Nativity set.
[Jesus saves us; Jesus become a person like us; the Church is our >Ark, on our Journey to Heaven.]

It’s all conjecture to find an actual ‘Biblical Reference’ to the end of the dangerous Dinosaurs. Maybe, the dinosaurs were put into a Mulligan Stew by Mrs Noah and the other women.
The Bible indicates, Noah and his family were on the Ark for about One Year.
1. 40 days and nights of rain. The Ark then bobs on the water for a period of time [Maybe 150 days total.]
2. The water starts to recede and land becomes visible. [Maybe, another 150 days.]
3. Then another 70 days for the Earth to dry out.
4. The complete event takes about one year on the Ark. [Time period from Biblical scholars.]

During this one year time period, Mrs Noah might have said to the men, “The gals are eating Brontosaurus Steaks tonight. What do you guys want? More oatmeal or Brontosaurus Steaks?”

The best response to, “What happened to all the dinosaurs?” that I have ever heard, = “The dinosaurs were first to go into the stew-pot; the dangerous dinosaurs were all eaten up by Noah and his family!”
The people in the old days were as smart as we are now; maybe, even >smarter.

Genesis 6:12-14 And God saw the earth, and behold, it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their way upon the earth. And God said to Noah “I have determined to make an end to all flesh, for the earth is filled with violence through them; behold I will destroy them with the earth. Make yourself an ark…”

It says “all flesh” which is not the same as “man.” I have wondered whether in those times, people were doing the same vile genetic cross species breeding that is being done today. Humans and spiders, humans and pigs, humans and monkeys…

We assume that people before the flood were technologically simple, which is not necessarily true. The Ark was made of wood. If God asked me to build an Ark, I would have to build it of wood, not steel, even though steel is abundant in our culture.

The interglacial periods lasted thousands of years. There was plenty of time for technology to develop, and to corrupt “all flesh.”

I have also wondered whether genetic manipulation created the Nephilim. Demons are not capable of true creation. Therefore they cannot create sperm out of nothing, and impregnate women with it. But they can certainly possess men, and they can certainly inspire transhumanist research. Just look at what is happening today.

Note: I am too fond of astronomy to believe the young earth theory, so if you are going to respond with that, please do not.

The scientific study of the Age of the Earth and Astronomy is part of the Christian inquires into our world.

“Georges Henri Joseph Édouard Lemaître was a Jesuit trained Belgian Catholic priest, mathematician, astronomer, and professor of physics at the Catholic University of Louvain. He was the first to identify that the recession of nearby galaxies can be explained by a theory of an expanding universe,[3] which was observationally confirmed soon afterwards by Edwin Hubble.
He was the first to derive what is now known as Hubble’s law, or the Hubble–Lemaître law, and made the first estimation of what is now called the Hubble constant, which he published in 1927, two years before Hubble’s article. Lemaître also proposed what later became known as the “Big Bang theory” of the origin of the universe, initially calling it the “hypothesis of the primeval atom”. Wikipedia.

Genisis = “And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.”

“SkyandTelescope, July 12014. =
“The age of the universe is approximately 13.77 billion years. This age is calculated by measuring the distances and radial velocities of other galaxies, most of which are flying away from our own at speeds proportional to their distances.
Using the current expansion rate of the universe, we can imagine “rewinding” the universe to the point where everything was contained in a singularity, and calculate how much time must have passed between that moment (the Big Bang) and the present.”
*********************

It’s often said that the Bible is ‘Theology’ about God’s purpose for >all people. The Bible wasn’t written to be a modern-day, science textbook.

The idea of a big flood is found throughout many cultures. See Wikipedia, ‘List of flood myths’ ~ “Flood myths are common across a wide range of cultures, extending back into Bronze Age and Neolithic prehistory. These accounts depict a flood, sometimes global in scale, usually sent by a deity or deities to destroy civilization as an act of divine retribution.”
******************
There is >still an enormous amount of Water >within the Mantle of the Earth, and out in Outer Space. The Bible describes how such water could be the source of the flood.

Avalanche Lily has an excellent comment describing how God may have caused a deep-sleep to occur with the animals; a hibernation of sorts. = A perfectly reasonable explanation, for why there wasn’t a great need for a big food supply to feed the animals.

Someone might mention Galileo and the Catholic Church. He lived from 15 February 1564 – 8 January 1642.
Before Galileo was born, Nicolaus Copernicus proposed that the Sun was the center of our Solar System.

“Nicolaus Copernicus, Polish: Mikołaj Kopernik; German: Nikolaus Kopernikus; Niklas Koppernigk; 19 February 1473 – 24 May 1543Science and Christianity, ~Catholics carry Galileo on their Crosses: = though Copernicus lived and died before Galileo. Plus, Priests are mainly described as uneducated and sexually perverse.
The Protestants and their Preachers suffer insults from the demoniacs too. … Protestants are typically described as uneducated Hillbillies, that dance about at Church, while holding on to living rattlesnakes.

The demoniacs will NOT acknowledge Christianity’s development/creation of Western Civilization and Modern Science.

This nation was founded by Freemasons whose true Christianity is questionable. One needs but a short google search to find quotations from high ranking freemasons Albert Pike and Manly Hall talking about the true God of masonry being Lucifer. Reading the freemasons book of morals and dogma tells you this. More like the United States was a grand masonic experiment to show God that even given freedom we will toss it all away. Anyway a great article with good points none the less.

I can’t speak for those of the past, but I know quite a few Masons personally and they are all good and decent Christians whose main focus is community service, particularly towards children and the elderly. They get a bad rap from uninformed internet conspiracy theorists and it’s not right. Most people don’t realize that the Shriners are all Freemasons and no one can argue the good that they do.

Modern science is about to get a wake-up call on their Ice Age Theory. Take a look at Garden Island/Gray’s Reef in Google maps. It’s cut 90 degrees off from what glacial theory says it was, and the boulders scraped off are western end of the reef. This shows that the ice was moving from the southeast to the northwest. Really, the whole Great Lakes area looks like it got hit by a rotory floor buffer rather than a straight line glacier. Those that came up with the glacial theory didn’t know what lies on the bottom of the lakes.

So what could have done this? The Biblical Flood!

Think of what will float on water when the flood covers the earth. What’s big, heavy, floats, and would cause the same damage as a glacier? The polar ice cap! Floating south, it would pick up counter-clockwise rotation from cyclonic storms, to make the same cuts as a circular saw blade with a tooth out of alignment. Think the ice cap can’t move anything. I’ve watched a ice sheet 12″ thick, 150 yards wide by 1 mile long pick up about 100 cubic yards of lake bottom in 6-8′ of water and bulldoze it on top of a reef 50 feet away driven only by a light breeze. The polar ice sheet easily could have scoured North America in the year time frame of the Biblical flood.

I was always fascinated by the “story” of Noah as a child and to this day can NOT resist reading articles relate to Noah and The Great Flood.

2 Timothy 3:1-5

“But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.”

I also believe the flood happened as written. The current scientific explanations do not fit the observed facts visible in the world today. Having spent considerable time pondering this disconnect I stumbled upon the Hydroplate Theory. It is an alternative veiw point that explains the formation of the earth. I found the Theory very interesting. I have always felt that the more we know the less we are getting right.

The story of Noah’s Ark is a metaphor for survival and prepping. Not factual, to wit: how were all those animals fed for all those months and what did they eat after, since all plants would have been destroyed? Where did enough water come from to cover the mountaintops, and where did it all disappear to? And what about incest involved in re-populating the world?

Dearest Bob D.

Please let me share with you what has been discovered by Creation Scientists (real scientists) associated with the Answers in Genesis group.

First of all, have you ever read the Genesis account of the Flood? If not the story is found in the book of Genesis Chapters 6-9. I suggest you give it a quick read or a re-read:

Chapter 6. And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.
And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.
A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it.
And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.
But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons’ wives with thee.
And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female.
Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive.
And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them.
Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.

Chapter 7. And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.
Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.
Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.
For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.
And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him.
And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.
And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.
Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth,
There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.
And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.
In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.
And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.
In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah’s wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark;
They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort.
And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life.
And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in.
And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth.
And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters.
And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered.
Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.
And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:
All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.
And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.
And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.

Chapter 8. And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged;
The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained;
And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.
And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.
And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.
And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made:
And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.
Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground;
But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.
And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark;
And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.
And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more.
And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.
And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried.
And God spake unto Noah, saying,
Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons’ wives with thee.
Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth.
And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him:
Every beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, and whatsoever creepeth upon the earth, after their kinds, went forth out of the ark.
And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.
While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

Chapter 9. And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.
And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.
Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.
But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.
And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man’s brother will I require the life of man.
Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.
And you, be ye fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein.
God spake unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying,
And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you;
And with every living creature that is with you, of the fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth.
And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.
And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:
I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:
And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.
And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.
And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan.
These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread.

Now I will tell you of some theories that Creation Scientists have.

Concerning the animals, storing enough food for them, having the space for All of them. A theory states that God put the animals into a form of hibernation, a stupor, a time of rest to keep their energy and waste expenditure down. If animals are sleeping they won’t be eating too much nor defecating so much that they have to be cleaned constantly, or that one would have to store that much feed for them, right? God would have told just how much feed to gather for the animals. Noah would only have to obey God’s directives in this manner. Like we will for what and who God has planned to be with us n these days that are coming.

Next: Why would we think that God would have us bring in EVERY known species of dogs, cats, mice that we now have today? It is speculated that God would have had one pair of dogs, one pair of cats, horses, and one pair of mice more examples and in their genes they would carry all of the differentiating variations that we have today. For example, one pair of dogs carried the differentiating genes to create the wolf, coyote, fox, jackel dingo, hyena, beagle, husky, Saint Bernard, collie, poodle. These are all dogs. This is called micro-evolution of which Christians do believe in and has been proven to be true just within the last 300 years of developing different dog species, breeding for certain traits… It happens all of the time. Animals only naturally breed within their genus. They will not breed outside of their species. A dog/canine is a canine. A feline is a feline, and a rodent is a rodent.
Your next question on the plants and vegetation growing back after the flood in a timely manner? The seeds of all plant species floated on the surface of the waters in their special casings that keeps them from rotting. When the waters receded they fell upon the earth, conditions became ripe and they germinated. It doesn’t take long for the grass to grow in the spring when the conditions are right, why would it take long for the grass and plants to grow after the flood? Trees, of course would take time, but God would have caused the animals to all eat grass and seeds until the earth had replenished itself. By the way, there weren’t very many animals that came through the flood therefore the plants and trees didn’t have animals eating them down as soon as they germinated. The animals were only located in one area of the WHOLE earth, therefore giving the rest of the earth the time it needed to regrow all of it’s vegetation. Animals can adapt/change their food preferences when they need to for a time. Horses prefer grass, but will eat, turnips, squash and doughnuts if grass isn’t available. You’ve seen dogs eat grass when they have an upset stomach? etc. You have also seen how fast Mt. St. Helens area recovered after the blast? Scientist reported that the deer and elk that survived were birthing twins and triplets for the next few years afterwards!!!!I’m sure this happened with all of the animals that came off of the Ark.

This is PURE Logic, common sense and natural observations of the ways of nature/God’s creation.

Water: Where did it all come from? The bible states that the fountains of the great deep broke open and the window of heaven were opened up. There is water under the earth’s crust. Lots of it, even today. A cosmic event possbily occurred causing the earth to have great gravitational pull on it, which caused great earthquakes, which cause d the crust/tectonic plates to break up, causing the waters trapped underneath to burst forth. This caused great volcanic eruptions and caused the mountain building to take place. but before the mountains were builded the pre-flood earth was not as mountainous as it is today and the earth had a different water cycle. God said it had not yet rained upon the earth.
It is speculated that there was a type of ice canopy above the earth that filtered the dangerous rays of sunlight, untra violet light that reached the earth, therefore protecting all animal life, and giving them longevity and also giving the earth a much higher Carbon dioxide level than we see now. Also this would cause the Temperature of the earth to be uniform throughout the earth with only a 20 degree spread between night and day. There wouldn’t have been any ice or snow or polar caps. That is why scientist find so many African animal skeletons up in Siberia’s permafrost.
So then the deeps broke up from Earthquakes , the heat of the volcanic eruptions melted the ice canopy, it began to rain. The waters rose up and flooded the earth. Everything not in the ark drowned. The waters receded. Noah and his family and the animals remained in the ark for another nine or so months until the waters receded and the grasses grew and God said they could leave the ark. The seeds were dispersed over the whole earth from the flood waters and began to grow.

Concerning the “incest” God created man perfectly. Their genetics were purer and stronger than ours are today. Noah was only 1696 years out from the creation of man, only 14 generations. Therefore is was acceptable and safe to marry cousins. It was not considered incest then! Today people STILL marry their cousins in many cultures around the world without genetic mishaps. Some do have genetic issues, but most do not. At creation, it wasn’t a social issue to marry a brother or sister. But after the Fall of man, because of the decay that set in to the earth and especially after the flood when the earth’s environment changed so greatly and man’s genes were damaged from the now unfiltered ultra-violet light, then it was important to start marrying outside the family circle.

Dear Bob, Many these are theories, but to believers of the bible they make sense and support the truth of God’s Word and His existence. If you would like to explore these ideas further we highly recommend visiting the Answers in Genesis website and purchasing some of their books. Sadly this world belongs to Satan and he controls the narrative in all of our schools and media so many do not get to hear these truths. Only those who have a heart for God and seek after His truths diligently are rewarded with His answers, but we must spread His word because we know not whom God is drawing unto himself. Faith comes by hearing. The Flood was true and God’s Word is True. He says that in the Last Days of this Age, He will destroy the earth by fire. According to His word and the events we see unfolding, we are in that season. Therefore it is imperative for all who see to what is occurring to Call upon the name of the Lord, YAHWEH and repent of your sins believing that HIS son Jesus, the Word made Flesh, came and taught the true ways of God the Father, and then died, shedding His blood for the remission of our sins. Repent therefore and believe on Jesus/Yeshua, and get a bible and begin reading it. For their is LIFE ETERNAL through HIS WORDS, and you will be saved from the Wrath of God that will come to this earth, soon.

May you be blessed! Thank you for reading and contributing to this blog.

Blessings,

Lily

Thank you for answering bob. I was amazed that there are people reading the blog that are not believers. Perhaps you have sent bob down the correct path.

Yes, Daddy Bob,

We have people from all walks of life who are reading this blog. And all are welcomed!!!!

Hopefully this Blog will be used to persuade many to look into the reality of The Father God, the Creator of the universe and the earth and all that is within it, and His Messiah, Yeshua/Jesus. We can only speak of the gospel and encourage people to repent and to read the Word of God. The rest is their choice. God is such a loving God that He gives us free choice to choose what we will, Him or the world/Satan. However, His words and laws are firm and universal, and the consequences are real for those not obeying them and remaining unrepentant of our transgressions of them. God will not be mocked! We love everyone and long for everyone to come to salvation. We believe we are in the Last Days and that Cataclysmic events are coming and that God is telling His people to prepare and stock up for yourselves and for whomever God will send to you, and to get their spiritual houses in order before God. Therefore these are our messages through this Blog as long as the Lord permits us to do so.

Daddy Bob may you have a Blessed week,

Lily

I am puzzled by one passage, Lily.

Now it came about, when men began to multiply on the face of the land, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose.

How is it that there were “sons of God” and “daughters of men”? That seems like a bad match. Were there no “daughters of God” to mate with “sons of God”?

BTW, I am grateful for your open door, welcoming each of us, however we live with God in our lives.

Carry on

Dear Once a Marine,

I will get back to you on this one, soon. I need to double check my knowledge of this topic and confer with a more knowledgeable friend to get the “facts” correct before I reply. 🙂

Carry on for now, 😉

Dear Once a Marine,

Okay, I will give this a try. I am only reporting the information that is out there on this topic. The “Sons of God” refer to angels. Angels are beings with no sex, meaning there isn’t male or female angels.

When Lucifer rebelled against God, this is recounted in Isaiah Chapter 14. Lucifer was a beautiful powerful angel full of pride who challenged God’s authority. He was prideful and wanted To be God and have God’s creation worship him, instead of God. When he rebelled, scripture states that a third of the Angels went with him.

Now this is where the “Sons of God” The rebelled Angels saw that the daughters of men were beautiful and took them to wife and their offspring were the Nafalim the fallen ones.

Now then, if the angels are without sex, neither male or female, how in the world did they procreate?

Well this is where the idea that before the flood, the people were fooling around with genetics, corrupting God’s creation, then, just as they are now doing, today.

Remember there is NOTHING new under the sun, NOTHING. Everything that the human race is doing today, has been done before, EVERYTHING. The Fallen Angels, Nafalim, worked with the Rebellious “Sons of men”/humans telling them how to manipulate the genes to create “designer babies” also known as the Nafalim. They created super large, (giants in the land) super smart humans.

Remember also Satan’s promise to Eve, if she would eat of the Tree of good and evil? She would be like God having knowledge. But it is knowledge from Satan, not God. Satan uses knowledge to separate God’s people from God.

What if God never intended for us to have electricity? and computers because the system will lead to total dictatorial control of all people in the whole wide world?

The Nafalim, “Sons of God” spiritual beings were on earth before the flood and after the flood. They are with us today, though they are not giants. There are rumors that these beings are working in our governments today (USA, Russia,China and Israel and probably many of the others) and have very high IQs. It is rumored that the reason why we have all of this genetic testing on humans to tell what your ancestry is really for the Nafalim to find their own people in the world so they can get them to help with their diabolical plans which are to help Satan to rule the world through his beast system, the high tech computer tracking and control, stuff. The Bible also states that in the very Last days Knowledge will explode. Notice that it did explode in only the last 150 years…

If you will, these Nafalim are also the “aliens” who may invade the earth in the Last Days.

I don’t know what else to add, here at this time. This isn’t a topic I like. It makes me feel uncomfortable, because…??? I don’t know. I am seriously out of my depth here. If anyone else wishes to chime in please do.

Lily

Once a marine.

The sons of God are fallen angels (demons) who mated with the daughters of men (human females) that’s what created the giants in the land. Remember the story of David and Galliath ?

If I may….Dr. Michael S. Heiser has shed light on “The Son’s of God” in his book “The Unseen Realm” and “Reversing Hermon.” He is a Semitic Languages PhD and has spent his career on the very subject of “weird” passages. He has a youtube channel (fringpop321) where he rebukes the alien culture and many others. His work is extensive. He worked for Logo’s as their senior language editor for most of his career. Consider his website “drmsh.com.” Whatever you do, read The Unseen Realm, it will change the way you read the bible and absolutely show the work of the Messiah all across time and before.

Once A Marine, Always A Marine. =
Wikipedia has an explanation page about the ‘Sons of God’ & [Daughters of Men] passage in Genesis. Wikipedia has numerous links if you don’t want to read Wikipedia. There are several interpretations to the passage.

Many verses in the Bible are still a Mystery to people. God in his timeline will reveal all things. The birth of Jesus Christ as a common person, along with his death on the Cross, came as a completely surprise to most people expecting a completely Earthly type of Messiah King.

Opaque messages do NOT detract from the main message of the Bible. = Salvation through Jesus Christ. + The Bible can be summed up in one word. = Jesus.

From the King James Bible, 1 Corinthians 13:12.
“12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: ~~now I know in part~~; but then shall I know even as also I am known.”

Somethings remain a Mystery for now; all will be revealed in due time.
[Attending Church is extremely beneficial for the understanding the Word; Jesus, the Word of God made flesh. [The Good Word of Salvation.]

“1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.” KJV

I’m not at all convinced that the Flood literally meant “the entire earth”, as may Old Earth Creationists give very convincing arguments to explain that. They literally cite every other passage in the entire Bible where phrases like “the entire earth” were used, and it was obvious that it was a phrase used in ancient Hebrew that meant the entire known area of the author. In the story of Joseph, in the same book of Genesis, there was a famine in “the whole world”, but a couple verses later, it explains that “the whole world” is relative to that of culture (Canaan, Egypt, parts of Africa, etc). It literally uses “the whole world” in one verse, then names the exact specific region in a following verse. This is just one example among many.
Either way, your objection here does not seem to be very convincing at all. Why would it be impossible for Noah to supply food for all the animals for a year? Take a zoo for example, the largest zoo on earth. Is it literally impossible for them to store up enough food for them for 1 year?
Also, this was a miraculous event, similar to the exodus, or the resurrection itself. If God willed for them to survive, it would not even be an issue. As is often the case during extreme weather events, most animals will go into a state of hibernation. Considering it was a miraculous event, that would certainly be the case.
There is manuscript evidence of a world wide flood in almost every single civilization on earth, even in civilizations that have lived for thousands of years on islands. You can read about flood “myths” being communicated to every civilization on earth here: [1]

Hi Matt,

I do believe the flood covered the whole earth, because I believe that the whole earth was one continent/one land mass in one area of the earth (Pangaea). It was what was broken up during the flood,(the landmass broke up and formed the continents that we know today as North and South America, Africa, Australia, Euroasia) or shortly there after when God scattered the people across the earth from the rebellion of the Tower Of Babel. I agree with you otherwise.

Blessings,

Lily

See creationevidence.org for answers (both text and video) to all of your questions and more.
The Creation Evidence Museum is in Glen Rose, Texas and has, among other things, an amazing ark replica about 1 to 12 ratio I believe.
They also have displays of actual dinosaur relics as well as mockups of the previous flood canopy and a really enlightening geo-column, and a whole lot more.
Blessings.

I loved this Sunday morning article! I truly appreciate your statement at the beginning. regarding the fact that Noah’s ark was not fictional. My late great aunt attended a church where the pastor taught her that it was scientifically impossible for Jonah to survive in the belly of a fish. My brother in law took religion classes that taught him that the red sea didn’t actually part, it was dry due to a dry time environmentally. Can you believe this? Why believe the resurrection is true if everything else is fiction. These are leaders teaching these things! I recently had to leave my church because my pastor noted that certain things are Ok, and that he doesn’t want to be known as a non- Harry Potter church (sorcery). He encouraged us to shop or frequent stores that blatantly support ungodly causes. These men will be held accountable for their teachings. Thank you for not being one of those people. Your article is inspired and honors our Lord. May He bless you richly. And I pray for all wisdom from above for each and every one of us, in what our Almighty God wants us to do in regard to prepping. The days are certainly evil.

The scripture points that Jonah was in the fish for three days as like the lord. In other words he was dead, then God resurrected him.

The passages after the Red Sea parting explicitly depict all of Pharaoh’s chariots, horses, and foot soldiers drowning after the Sea closed up.

The Flood DID happen because we have oil deposits today all over the world. Those deposits are fossil fuel—fossil fuel is carbon [living organisms]. Meaning there weren’t millions of people killed in the flood but 10s of billions. If my math is correct.

Mass murders happen today because long gone are the days when women were told to stay in a marriage/home and seed the next generation of morality. Everyone of these mass shooters from Newtown, Sandy hook, both Texas ones this year, Columbine, to Stony Brook high school are all done by having no FATHERS in the home and yes no MOTHERS either when they go off to work living liberated as a facade badge of single Mom. Even the Las Vegas largest mass shooting in American history he had no foundation as a father/grandfather with a loving wife in the home. Long gone are the days when we would go over to grandfathers house and he would sit us down talking about the gun safety of his 27 guns staring back at you through the gun case in his dining room. Then him taking you out ensuring your respect for a firearm. I blame women’s rights for the mass shootings. Funny the LEFT destroy more families telling women they can be men and yet pitch gun control to remove ALL guns when a teenage male shoots up a public place due to the lack of respect for anything and living in a broken family. My two cents.

The pornography issue above I also attribute to women’s rights. Imagine for thousands of years women being ushered off into families at the ripe old age of 18 and men being men at the ripe old age of 20. Imagine men having an outlet for sex starting at age 20 when they married their bride who was 18. They didn’t divorce back then either and a sexual outlet was there for life for both partners. Now imagine girls taught that men are sexual predators (go to any corporate America sexual harassment training and watch their videos), and then teach girls that everything is rape and even female senators passing marriage rape laws, then tell girls they are equal to men and go get a college degree and then two and three degrees, then tell girls to get married at the ripe old age of 38 to push out two babies and then divorce 5 years later. Once again this pornography culture is cultivated by the liberation of women from the marriage bed.

I thank JWR for allowing me to post these things on women’s rights/feminism as in most other circles on the internet it is hate speech. The LEFT want the guns collected to they will implement the most amount of chaos into society and the best way to break society down is the liberation of women–no family bonds anymore.

As far as your comments on the ARK and all those questions of animals, pens, dimensions, etc. Since moving to the Redoubt, it is a labor of love. We will never be done with our property and always building, maintaining, and enjoying.

We agree on the new storm a-coming. The signs are in the air. Pray up and store up for a rainy day!

Blessings!

Look in a few history books

Mass murders ´ve a very Long history and Family man aren´t innocent in them, neither from the US or from europe or else

Imagine for thousands of years women being ushered off into families at the ripe old age of 18 and men being men at the ripe old age of 20.

No they´ven´t, in Europe for the last centuries it was About 30 years, in Rome a Woman could be married at the age of 12.
In medival England it was economically dependent on the Manor Lord, when he would give the serfs and peasants a farm so they could provide

For those who doubt that was a catastrophic flood, there is in modern Archaeology, overwhelming evidence making the event a fact, that there was such approximately 10 to 12 thousand years ago, that wiped out much of civilization. I should also say that I do not trust science whole heatedly. As a student, I learned that there are many holes in modern science, it’s theory of evolution for one. That by the rules of the Scientific Method itself, that establishes the basis upon which a evidence, or a hypothesis should be considered a scientific fact (theory), should be only be a hypothesis at best.

Most evidence that might challenge the narrative in modern Archaeology, or another ‘science’, whether the evidence is Biblical in origin or not, is ignored, or suppressed. Even if there is mountains of evidence have seemly nothing to do with the Bible, and should it not fit the established narrative, it will be dismissed, one way or another. Consider that if a scientist wishes to work for an institution that relies on government grants, or private investors, their prior work should not contain controversial topics.

I will mention briefly that there is mountains of evidence of a prior and advanced civilization of a sub species of mankind, that did manage to interbreed. Their genetic traits are visible today The history of mankind is largely an unknown. I believe the Bible gives us what we need to know and can handle, yet there is more…

#47 Comment By Big Mike On November 25, 2019 @ 8:57 am

Indeed. The Bible is our best written record of ancient history. Studying the various sciences can bring one closer to God. Physicists, agnostic at the onset of the careers, once deep into it, many got religion as a result. Mankind’s finest intellects can easily be overwhelmed with awe at His creation. Recent and independent anthropology, is proving that the nephlim existed, and that Babylon deserved it’s reputation, justifying God’s judgement. The flood was necessary and effective. And by learning from the past, we can better see the future. We are overdue for Judgement. The battle is primarily spiritual, then manifests on this earthly plane. It’s gonna get ‘worser’, sooner rather than later. Looks like their effort to censor traditional American ideals is going to the extreme level very soon.

There is much more than this, but it is a good start:

Lily,

Thank you for your reply re: “Sons of God”. As busy as you are, you are taking time to engage with us. In my world, that means a lot.

And, you stepped into your own uncomfortable feelings to research and document the Nefalim for us. I salute your sense of service in doing that. Please be assured your discomfort is welcome and will be relieved as you place yourself in God’s hands. I am blessed to be in relationship, cyber though it is, with you.

Carry on

If there were giants after the flood are there still giants? There is a story of some U.S. special forces taking on a giant in the middle east after they discovered it in a cave. A soldier was killed but then the giant was killed. I’m not sure if I believe that story but it is apparent that giant skeletons have been found in the last one hundred years right here in America. There are old newspaper clippings showing a group of farmers with shovels in hand proudly standing behind a giant skeleton that they had unearthed. The article will tell that the Smithsonian Institution had sent men to the scene and they had carted the skeleton back to the museum. But there has never been a giant skeleton on display. Where did they go? Were they hidden because their existence would help prove the validity of the Bible?

Appreciated the article! Thank you for posting this, C.H.

Bottom line for this poor man is, “Looking unto JESUS, the Author and Finisher of our faith” [ HEBREWS 12:2 ]. This mighty God-Man Mediator, our Creator, our High Priest, great Prophet, coming KING OF GLORY; He alone is our Surety, our Sin-bearer, our holy sinless Substitute, Savior and Chief Shepherd!

The majority of folks have not the fear of the LORD before them and how most have no conception of just how bad it’s about to get. I pray Abba (‘Father’) be pleased to HIDE US IN THE DAY OF HIS ANGER [see ZEPHANIAH 2:3].

Great points about physical preparations too. The Master commands us to be armed and provide for our family: simple as that. It’ scary to see how dull of heart most folks are nowadays. One of the things I learned from **three separate S.E.R.E. ‘school’s is that the worst mind-set one can have is to remain willfully ignorant, i.e., “Oh, nothing bad will EVER happen to me!” and by extension “……happen to my state or country.”

God helps us in the storms ahead to glory and rejoice in Christ Jesus, “The LORD our righteousness” evermore. May He continually remind us that, “Salvation is of the LORD” [JONAH 2:9c] and that He is the victorious CAPTAIN of our salvation. Let’s pray for one another too!

Respectfully,
Billy

Re: “Let’s pray for one another.” Yes, lets! You have been prayed for already and will continue to be lifted up.

Look up the Book of Jasher. It is online. It gives much more detail about the flood, and the earliest days of Creation, than in Genesis. Fascinating reading.
