Re. Gandhi
Look at what Gandhi started with just a ‘Salt March’. Imagine what a ‘Firearms March’ could do. Gandhi thought like a free man. Do you? Do you believe we have inalienable rights as delineated in our DOI?

We are free to walk away from Washington. Fight if we must, but why start a war? Let God deal with evil.

“There is Nothing More Powerful Than An Idea Whose Time Has Come “ – Victor Hugo

Well, imagine that, one of the most peaceable men throughout history confirming what our 2nd so boldly and plainly states. To deprive the populace of the right to protect themselves, their right to self determination is to open the door to the evils of men.
And I have to disagree with you Montana Guy Regarding letting God deal with evil. God can surely, and will deal with evil, but he also gave us the ability to deal with evil in our own short lifespans. He gave us the ability to provide ourselves with choice, and ability to reason. We can follow Gods law or retreat to the bright lights and immediate pleasures of evil. Knowing full well that He created a flawed being, he gave us the ability to save ourselves. Perhaps he created us that way to challenge us and help us grow. But hey, that’s just the way I see it.
And yes, the movie Ghandi, as portrayed by Ben Kingsley was one of the greatest of all times. It’s the meaning, actions, and intent, behind the words that matter.

Here-here!
God does deal with evil- men inspired by what is right all down through history have stood against evil, fought and died in the cause. Life is ‘hands on’ in so many cases. In a word, Freewill. As has been said so well: All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do Nothing.
