Preparedness Notes for Saturday — September 7, 2019

Today is the birthday of Dr. Ludwig Vorgrimler [1] (born 1912 in Freiburg, Germany; died 1983). Vorgrimler was the designer of the Spanish CETME rifle, from which sprang a plethora of roller-lock descendants from HK, including the G3, HK21, and MP5. His bolt design was also copied by the Swiss for their excellent PE57 and SIG 510 rifles. (Although the Swiss felt obliged to mount a “beer keg” charging handle on the right side of the receiver, for the sake of familiarity to Schmidt-Rubin shooters.)

September 7th is also the birthday of Richard Cole, born in 1915. He passed away on April 8, 2019, at age 103. Cole was the living Doolittle Raider. He was General Doolittle’s co-pilot.

This is also the birthday of novelist Taylor Caldwell (born 1900 – August 30, 1985).

Re: Ma G’s comment on the feds demand of the tech companies handing over info & names on who’s is using what app. Seriously, is it really so difficult to sight in a scope or even iron sights for that matter? Really, it’s not hard to figure it out, that’s what God gave you a brain and the ability to use it for. Use it, it’ ain’t rocket science…..

Happy birthday Taylor Caldwell – I would urge everyone to try and read her novel, “The Devils Advocate”, copyright 1956 if I’m not mistaken. Will give you a look into the present happenings throughout the world, specifically the US. Only thing we are missing is the deep undercover complete gov, waiting in the wings in secret to take over once the present day forces destroy what we currently recognize as our country. A country that has been systematically destroyed since Teddy & Woodrows terms in office, Lincoln did his share to destroy it as well.
